I've got carpet in the bathroom as well, ironically the only room that does have it! I could easily remove it as it's not secured down at all, but the vinyl underneath is so revolting it's better to just keep it hidden (and no menfolk to worry about their "aiming"). Bring on MF and home renovations!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Our last house had carpet in the bathroom when we moved in, and the previous owner was a childminder. I know you have no kids, but take it from me... they don't aim. Any of them.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

This one wasn't as bad to remove.
Does that mean the carpet wasn't as bad, or that I'm becoming desensitized to the smell? 🤔😣
My glutes are complaining about all the manual labour I did yesterday. Annoyingly, I wasn't wearing my step counter as I took it off to charge and then forgot to put it on again until after I was finished, so it reckons I only did about 500 steps 😆🙄 I did get in about ten minutes of pilates in the late afternoon. I will see how much I can get done on the floor this aft, and make sure I do some more pilates afterwards.
Dentist appt this morning. Posting Mother's Day cards to all the clients I've had since Mother's Day last year. I'm also going to pop into the PO and see if I can deposit that £10 back into my account that I didn't need for the car wash. Better in my account than my purse! I've moved the money from the health and house accounts into our jt account to cover my prescription, the dentist, and the lino.
Now it's shower time! (Should be said ala MC Hammer, complete with dancing your way into the bathroom.)

Just did a Prolific survey on paying off debts and financial management
I earned an extra quid because I had the total debt level under the target amount at the end

In other news, there is now lino on the bathroom floor, and I think my legs might fall off. It looks amazing though. Also, my teeth feel weird.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Maybe next time cut it with a knife, rather than your teeth? 😂
Is prolific any good?
I do youg0v as they are a quick 5 mins.If it's not adding up, compound it!2 -
Duplo bundle currently at £16 with 2d17h remaining. Got a refund for the pilates classes that won't be running the rest of the month so I've put that in the OP pot. Really need to ring NW to confirm with them that OPs are set to reduce the term, not anything else. I did click that setting in the online banking, but I wanna be certain before I send this money off.
OP pot currently stands at £115.67/£500

I enjoy Prolific Grogged, I like the fact that you're pre-screened for acceptance so there's none of the agonising filling-in of most of the survey to then be told you don't qualify or they've got enough respondents 😠 Also you only need to have £5 to cash out and it's real money not vouchers. It's the only survey site I do, tried others but they just wound me up! I tend to just pick up my phone and check for surveys in the ad breaks when I'm watching TVMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
