Well done both - 1,000 post and being Mrs Prolific. 😆
Now I have some spare time 😷 I can register and give it a go.
I've seen a real up tick in ugov recently, is it the same on Prolific? If it's not adding up, compound it!0 -
• Finally done a couple more surveys on Prolific (haven't had one for 3 days!)
• Second half of the money shuffle is now complete, ready for the CC to be paid. Approx half of the monthly bills have been paid.
• Chickens have been very shouty this morning. There must be a lot of eggs being laid. JIC anybody thinks chickens without a cockerel are quiet, they're not (although admittedly some individual chickens are quieter than others). They sing the egg song. They don't just sing the egg song when they've laid an egg, but also when someone else lays an egg, or when anybody gets in a nest box to lay an egg. (And also if something upsets them, like a predator staring at them.) The egg song sounds like this:https://youtu.be/47l396ZWWRo
...so if you imagine that, sung by 6 chickens, all with slightly differently pitched voices and slightly different ways of singing it, at the same time, multiple times a day, that should give you a good indication of our soundtrack through the laying months of the year
• Definitely feeling a bit untethered with our regular home ed routine being down the toilet. Missing seeing our home ed friends, lost track of what day it is multiple times this week. Kids are still doing their daily online lessons etc, but our week is usually structured around going out to weekly/monthly groups/workshops and that's clearly not happening right now! It is interesting seeing how many people suddenly have new respect for those of us who home ed full time, but I keep having to remind people that being confined to the house is not SOP for home ed families and that this is really weird and difficult for us too.
• Worked out the other day that I have over 50 unread books in my work libraryI am considering setting myself a challenge of reading some of them and then writing book reviews for my professional blog. It's something I already wanted to do, and this would seem like an opportune time to do it...if I can motivate myself to do so!

All I can hear in my head is the egg song as:
Chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken, laying a little egg for me!If it's not adding up, compound it!2 -
I wish I could! All I hear is "buck buck buck buck buck BAGARK!!" I can tell which chicken is which from their voices too
Feeling very blah, and pretty much done sweet FA today. I did get showered and dressed so I suppose that's something! Hoping I'll feel a bit more motivated to do stuff tomorrow!Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.
