I think the thread title needs some editing now we know it wasn't a rat. Otherwise it reads like a malicious smear.

How is it wasting tax payers money when you find a black smelly lump of stuff in your crisps that shouldn't be there. I pay tax also so if I was wasting any money it would be my own.

Because it should be blatantly obvious just by examining it yourself. I have no idea how you separate your tax money from mine. You are wasting everyones tax money not just your own
