I joined Swagbucks today using the MSE link which means I qualify for a £20 bonus when I earn my first £10. However, I’ve tried to complete about 5 surveys but I’ve been screened out every time with a message along the lines of “not every survey can be a winner”. Please can someone explain what is going on and advise how I can resolve this problem? I use Prolific and I’ve never encountered similar issues.

I'm afraid Swagbucks is very different from Prolific!  You will get disqualified from the majority of surveys, as they are not selected with a view to your personal profile the way that Prolific ones are.  Swagbucks used to be a nice little earner, but they have been cutting right back lately, and particularly since the pandemic, probably because advertisements are drying up.  When you do complete surveys, the rewards are lower than they are through other survey portals.  That said, once you get used to it it is possible to make a steady trickle of earnings; last month I cashed out £50, although I would hate to add up the number of hours it took me to accumulate that!

It seems like it’ll be more trouble than it’s worth to even make £10.

Which of the SB apps works and credits you?
I`m averaging 10SBs a day now because the SBTV only gives you 1

Hi, I signed up to Swagbucks using the MSE link 10 days ago. I have accumulated 1300 points. When will I receive the promised the Extra £15 worth of points? When did everyone else get theirs? Thanks

it says: "Once you've earned 1,300 SB, and as long as you did it within 30 days of signing up, an additional 2,600 SB (equivalent to £20) will be transferred to the 'My Swagbucks cards' section of your account within 10 days."

@Emmaar22. Hi, are your apps still playing videos? I was getting 10sb a day till my phone broke and I had to start using a phone with up-to-date android and apps. Now I can only get 7sb by clicking on 'click and earn'. That has no progress meter and it seems to pay 1sb per app as and when, and if, it feels like it. Actually the main app can still play videos but still only giving 1sb. If click and earn isn't showing for you you're probably on older (better) versions of the apps.

I've been with SB for years and it's really gone downhill in the last couple of months. Don't know if it is cos there are less advertisers now. Very few surveys that work, no videos to watch for SB, games don't work. Many people can't get their daily goal any more.
