That's a shame.  For the benefit of others, though, I do recommend double-checking the ID form when it pops up, and if necessaray editing it so that the details match those on your credit record, the electoral register or other official but accessible data.  In my case, for instance, although I go by the name of Molly, my legal name is Mary;  so I changed the details so that it read Mary, and it was happy with that.  I strongly suspect it would have rejected Molly because it couldn't find a record in that name to go with my surname and address.

I also had problems, had to enter my DOB not the easiest. However it did work. Will I have to enter this every time or is it a one off?

I don't know - today is the first time I have encountered the ID check pop-up.  However, every time that I cash a Mastercard from Swagbucks I have to enter my name, address, e-mail and phone - I use a null phone number - as part of the procedure.  (I have that lot stored in a form-filling utility, so it is no hassle to me.)  Why is the DoB a hassle?  Will it not let you type it in as DD/MM/YYYY?

No, it's a weird pop up calendar thingy. It looks like you have to scroll back through the months to get to the birth year but you can click on the year showing to bring up a year, then month, then day selector. A faff but do-able!

I had the same thing this morning. I've never created an account on the wallet site, just entered my details each time.

This time it asked for my DOB and to verify my ID which failed - my SB username is an abbreviation of my proper name.

Will wait for the email and see if they accept my proper ID.

If they do, I wonder if I'll need to set up a wallet account to stop it happening every time.

I only use the MasterCard payout as it's the best deal - I wish SB would equalise the gift card prices (downwards)!

I don't actually remember creating an account either, but suppose I must have done.  I just used to autofill the details in each time and then redeem straight away.

I am not sure if I used my name or a nickname I use as a username.  I am normally pretty good at writing details down if I sign up for anything, but can't find details anywhere.  I have tried so many different versions that I am locked out now anyway, so can't try anything else.

I have the same issue - I verified details as they are i.e. correct name and date of birth (needed to get the date format right as it  wanted the US format).  I also failed validation and am awaiting notification of the next steps; I'll upload the documents, it will be fiddly but not a hassle.

What documents are you going to upload?  I was just thinking of a recent bill that had my address on.

I received the verification email and rang the number on it, I was told there is a lot of fraud going on lately so that is why they are doing these checks. 

Also he couldn't actually find a "wallet" attached to my email address.

Ah, that may be why my experience is different - I have had a "wallet" since 2018 when I first started using Mastercards from Swagbucks.  (Although my most recent cards don't appear to have gone into it - so maybe that is why I keep getting asked for address etc.  I shall test it out with my next card, to see whether I can just open the wallet and add the code to generate the card details.)
