Good news - today was a no spend day :T

Although, I think I may be taking things abit too far. I needed some 'ladies things' and didn't have time to go into town but i refused to buy them from corner shop as they are sooooo expensive. In fact, I hate our corner shop - it is just sooooo expensive and they once told me off for looking at newspaper headlines on papers other than the one I was buying!! and they shouted at me because my little boy (he was 2!!) walked out with some sweets i didn't know he had! i boycott it whenever i can. anyways, so now i'm scrabbling around in every handbag, purse etc looking for spare said 'ladies things' :o

please all send me good vibes for tomo (driving test!)

Good luck! I spent about a year and a half learning, then I took my test and failed, and gave up! Now I've recently started again, so I completely sympathise!

I also admire the fact you have a goal to aim for... most 25yr olds I know who have two children are in masses of debt. I'm 20, and as you can see in my sig, I'm trying to save £3,000 in 12 months which I thought was hard!! Anyway, I'll be following your diary closely so good luck.

    Thanks rb!

Well today is the day - providing I have a car to actually take my test in!!! never thought i'd actually be hoping to be able to take my driving test. Anyway, feeling nervous already - gonna go take some calms in a bit. Decided I'm going to fake confidence whether i feel it or not - gonna try anyway. I really hope I pass - it really annoys me having to pay out every month for something that I hate and dread!

anyway - spent so far today 85p on milk from the dreaded corner shop (I need my tea on a morning!)

Its definitely on - my instructor just called. am pleased but now my insides have started churning up bleurgh. chillout, dont stress about it. if i fail its not the end of the world (my pep talk to me).

my poor instructor - i think he dreads this as much as I do cos whenever i fail i bawl all the way home while he just sits looking uncomfortable. last time i was even crying before my test!! poor man (or rich man all the money i've given him over the past two years!)

anyways - it'll all be over by 2.30 this aft. fingers crossed!!
