Couldn't an early claim be counted as an incorrect claim ? - As they could say you have sent the wrong bill (too early).... ?

It wouldn't stop you claiming correctly at the right time. Only a late claim could achieve that. I think you'll find it doesn't say an "incorrect claim" but a valid claim by the relevant date (or words to that effect). To be precise then:- "Where a valid claim has not been recieved by us within one calendar month of the required bill, which is the closing date for your claim. You will not be entitled to any part of the cashback offered." You really Do need to know what you're doing with them nowadays.0
