e2save "price match" claim form

My friend bought a mobile from e2save a few months ago and asked me to look over the dates. However, it seems he's lost the claim forms that you're supposed to attach to the bills, am I right in thinking it's just a print out of the following link:

http://www.e2save.com/files/cashback/special_terms_voucher.pdf

Only problem is that it seems to suggest that photocopies of the claim form aren't acceptable. Does anyone know if that's what you're supposed to use to claim or do they send you a form to claim with?

  • They won't send you one. Which form you need depends on the deal and source at the time. They are also using at least two different addresses now.
  • The link on your original post is the correct claim form that I received a week ago. There is no reason why you can't send this form with your first claim.

Just log into your account on the E2Save website, then click on offer and you'll get your exact claim dates. Mine are below:money:

In this scenario, if your billing date was eg 10th of the month - Would you send the bill dated 10th March (and send it on 18th March), or send the one dated 10th April ??

    This is quite confusing ?

The breakdown can't be any simpler, I was connected on the 20th of November. My next bill will be dated on or around the 20th of each month. My bill is March will be dated around the 20th - this will be the first bill I send in.

If I was connected on the 10th my first claim date will be around 08th March to 07th April - simple.

If this confuses you then maybe you should try and avoid E2Save.

My situation is that I purchased the phone on 10th August, and my billing date is 20th of the month.

Therefore 120 days after this date would be 8th December.

Would I therefore send the bill dated 20th November (on the 8th December), or wait until I receive the bill dated 20th December, but then they are most likely going to receive it late ?

Your account details have a date range, mine just mentions 120 days from purchase.

    Thanks in advance.

darren, send in your bill dated 20th November, but NOT before the 9th December. They CAN'T receive it before the full 4 months are up. Do it this way and you should have no problems. Don't dally, get it sent ASAP on or after the 9th December (as the 9th is a Sunday, send it on Monday 10th) by SPECIAL DELIVERY and remember when they receive you bill it must NOT be more than 28 days old.

    Thanks Lynsey.

E2save refused to answer that question when I e-mail them.

Did they email you, or did you just work that out yourself ?

    Thanks

I phoned them direct a few times and every time I got the same answer.
Though not strictly as per T&C's, I went along with how they wanted the claim sent and they fully obliged, no problems whatsoever.

Best of luck and keep us updated.

So in theory either my 4th bill or 5th bill should be accepted, as long as they receive it after 4 months, and within 28 days of the bill date ?

    Thanks

Yes, you can send in either bill, but for me the quicker the better. I can't see the point of waiting for the next bill when the claim can be processing, but it's nice to have the choice.
