I will have to fall back to Virgin then, as I have issue 5 (and 4) so I cant open issue 6...

Virgin is a better bet anyway. The headline rate is slightly lower, but that is more than offset by the more flexible conditions and the slightly longer term.

Nope, that's exactly the same as issue 5 which could be opened online but had the same clause regarding operation.

You are right. I stand corrected. Ted

For those who opened a Leeds RS Issue 6 yesterday and funded it (who already have issue 5), what interest rate is shown in online banking when looking at the account? Tia

    Leeds regular saver issue 6
    Account Balance: £ 250.00
    Available to Withdraw: £ 200.00
    Current Rate (gross pa): 2.30%

But looking at my Leeds regular saver issue 4 it says only 0.50% - why????
    Account Balance: £ 2000.00
    Available to Withdraw: £ 1950.00
    Current Rate (gross pa): 0.50%

Do you have Issue 5 too?

With regards to Issue 4's interest rate, it's 0.5% with a 1.8% bonus. As long as you adhere to the terms for the bonus interest rate, then you'll get 2.3%.

Yes, I have issue 4, 5 and at least for a week or 2 I have issue 6.

(and the dormant issue 3 which is closing in October)

Mine says 0.5% but that would be because I c*cked it up and deposited 2 x £250 by mistake.

My non-funded Leeds RS 6 is showing as closed this morning - I already have the RS 5.
Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?
