If you like taking a little bit of risk in life, try opening a second account in your name and see what happens...
Stop this - You've been advised of the T&Cs earlier in this thread.
Just because a system allows you to open two (or more accounts) still makes it in breach of the T&C.
Santander, NW and plenty of others systems have allowed products to be opened whilst their T&Cs have stated they cannot be opened in conjunction with each other.
These institutions do read these forums and hence why forumites have subsequently had these closed down.
Will you be around and offering such wonderful advice should people who take up your suggestion have ALL their accounts closed?
Thought not...0 -
Have tried from the home/info page, and while inside online banking, (ie to open further RSs). While I get a string of 9 digit ref. Nos, a further account does not show up as opened.0

They could close all your accounts as you've downloaded and agreed to the T&Cs which you're in breach of.0 -
Hi ya, what made you think you could open 2 RS accounts?
Have opened a RS for myself and the wife - all easy and confirmed.
We really are in 2 minds whether to open the ISA account. It will only allow a max of £3K out of a potential £20K, what if someone offers a good ISA account where you could put your £20K allowance. You will be stuck so not sure what to do? Any thoughts anyone?
So you get interest of £65 from the Ford Reg Saver ISA
If you could find an IS A at 2%ish that would accept straight off £3000 for a year then that would be similar
But if you are drip feeding the £250 from say a Santander 1-2-3 acc monthly into Ford Reg ISA you're earning £84 interest a year....so you'd have to find a 3%ish ISA to accept £3000 in one go
( I think !!!)
Chances of even a 2% ISA coming out within 12 mth s ??? Probably zero0 -
FYI... I was told this morning on the phone by a customer service rep at Ford Money that I could open "as many regular savers as you like", but that I was restricted to one regular saver ISA. A few minutes later, I received a call back from them saying that they were mistaken, I could open as many regular saver ISA's as I liked as well, provided I did not contribute more than £20,000 to them this tax year.R.I.P. Bart. The best cat there ever was. :sad:0
