This is crazy but I phoned and they said there is no limit on the number of regular savers you can open. Also the number of regular ISAs that you can opened is only limited by the 20,000 limit.

If there really is no limit, we'll be on the computer for hours, setting up payments and SOs !

Surely, that can't be their intention. I wonder how long it will take them to twig:cool:

If I were a betting forumite...

You'll be spending even more hours cancelling those SOs when Ford realise they are misinforming their advisors and their advisors are misinforming customers!

    Well

I know my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be, but where in the T&Cs does it mention 'anniversary month' in terms of funding the accounts?

I've downloaded the T&Cs from the website for both the RS & RS ISA this morning, and I can't see any mention of anniversary month in the relevant paragraphs:cool:

    It's here:

    How much you can save

You can deposit between £25 and £250 each month, for 12 months from your initial deposit date. The minimum deposit value is £25. There is no limit to the number of deposits you can make per anniversary month as long as you don’t exceed £250 in total over the month. Deposits can be made by Standing Order. You can amend the amount you deposit by Standing Order at any point in the 12 month period. There is no change to the interest rate if you miss a month’s deposit. Any missed deposits or unused allowance will not be carried over to the following month.

and here is a link: https://www.fordmoney.co.uk/content/dam/fmny/uk/documents/Regular-Saver-Product-Terms.pdf

You need to be looking under: How much you can save

Did anyone fund the accounts this morning and can see the money in their online banking? I funded my 4 accounts (1 of each for myself and my husband), the accounts are showing in my online banking but the balance is still showing as £0.00 for all 4 accounts. I understand that it probably is a busy day for them though!

I say again, the question has to be asked why bother putting an upper limit on the monthly deposit if you can have as many as you like. It's nonsensical.

They will work it out for themselves at some point - the main question will then be, do they allow the accounts already opened to continue to operate?

    Yes you can

You fund any of the accounts using:

    sort code 20 32 53 account number 63604551

and in the 'Ref' space enter your individual 7 digit account number followed by your surname (no spaces & presumably shortened if necessary:cool:)
