My Ford on-line banking is open but the 4% RS is not showing up there yet.

It's let me apply for another one within the on-line banking and I've got an application reference email - lets see what happens!

Got a bit over excited for a minute:o

Email telling me there is a secure message in my account. Hoping both new Reg Savers had appeared, I logged in. Only to be told that I'm 'earning interest with Ford Money' - on the princely sum of £5 I transferred yesterday:rotfl::rotfl:

Did Santander ever pick up on your second RS with them? Think you were the person whom managed to open two at 5%?

But you could also read that as:

You can hold an account by yourself or jointly with one other person, also aged 16 or over.

...without the intention to limit it to one per person. At least that is the way I'm going to interpret it for the next 10 minutes or so ;)

So you will substitute your terms for theirs!

Wasn't me (unfortunately) - it was someone else who managed it over the phone.

EDIT: just remembered it was kazza242.

  • Just applied for the Ford Money Regular Saver. Application acknowledged by email. Just waiting fr the secure message to say account opened.

Can anyone clarify the "month" meaning as used by Ford? If I deposit £250 before the end of May, can I deposit a second £250 on 1 June (and on each 1st of the month until 1 May 2018)? Or will the next £250 only be accepted on the date a month after the first payment?

I've looked at the T and Cs and it is not clear. They don't use the term "calendar month" which other providers tend to use.

My sister has just applied for the Reg Saver ISA. It wont accept her NI number for some reason.

Has anyone else had this problem?

The terms mention "anniversary month". Therefore I guess you will have to wait until 23 June before you can make the second deposit; assuming that your first deposit goes in today.
