Am I right in thinking this one is a waste of time now at 2%?0

I've finally got round to testing my theory and it is indeed possible to have all three Virgin Money regular savers (esaver issues 1 & 2 plus the passbook account).Good luck! I was refused one in store yesterday and again this morning, but finally convinced a more senior member of staff that it was a different issue number, and therefore ok.
You fill in the paperwork and have to give 2 forms of ID. The account is supposed to be opened in 48 hours and a passbook posted to you. Fingers crossed.
Store account opened easily and without any fuss. My passbook was issued straight away in store.0 -

Asked at virgin twice
And cannot have issue 1,2 and passbook ??
Told passbook is issue 1 , rang virgin money !!
Any ideas how you get all three ?0 -
I've got all three as I mentioned yesterday. To avoid the risk of any possible misunderstanding, I carefully explained (when opening the passbook account in the 'store') that I already have both online accounts, and that the online accounts each have a different name ("E-Saver") and different maturity dates from the passbook account.0

Staff must be not very vigilant !!
I was told under no circumstances I could have one !!0 -
I was told under no circumstances I could have one !!
Despite the fact that the Regular Saver is not an E Regular saver and has a different maturity date from either of the E Regular savers?
And (post 4645)Just for the avoidance of doubt: Virgin's online 'web chat' have just now confirmed to me that it's allowed to hold both RS Issues 1 & 2 at the same time.0 -
