Hi Everybody,
I cannot find anything that has changed for this weekend's update.
I doubt that anything is going to change this week so I will do another update the weekend after next. Have a Happy New Year!

My dear chap.
Thank you for doing this during the holidays (and throughout the year!).

Thanks for the post about the Nottingham account, I hadn't heard about it from them - it is good to see they are doing a great rate again for their savers. It is just a shame it is limited to £100 a month.0

I used to subscribe to these offers from the Notts and would open them when passing one of their branches but since my leisure/work ratio has changed due to the big R word, it's not really worth it having to travel to a branch and being offered life/pet/house insurance. The interest would be eaten up by fuel costs. I presume that these offers would be rapidly subscribed if they were available online.
I could always make a day or two out of it I suppose and travel using my bus pass :cool:0 -

Likewise, I'll have to give this one a miss, cant see the interest differential being worth the parking and petrol costs to get to the branch. Its not even a full year term!0 -
Was just about to open an HSBC Regular Saver but noticed they say on their website that you cannot manage the account online. I understand that but can someone tell me if the account will be "visible" online once I log-in to Internet Banking (so I can e.g. at least see what's the balance on the account?) or is it not visible at all online and I would have to phone to check the balance?0

Yes, you can see the account online and see all the payments which have gone into the account.0
