Must be between £25 & £400 so can be varied each month. Must be by SO but not specifically from another Lloyds account.

Some speculation as to how Lloyds could identify whether incoming payment from outside Lloyds was SO or FP. I've played safe & set up SO from Club Lloyds account.

Thanks Badger - seems I wasnt going daft.

    Hello all,
Sorry if this has been asked previously, but after reading a few threads now I am unable to find the answer.
This morning I tried to open BOS classic currant account with vantage. I got accepted until the issue with nearest branch. I live in London, what branch have you lovely people outside of Scotland have used to open yours? Or am I not allowed to do this

    Many thanks in advance

    Sylvia

Just use any BoS Branch you fancy.

Mine all have a sort code of 80-47-13, which is "GLASGOW RIDDRIE (R)". I live about 800 miles from Glasgow.

    Thanks for the heads-up.

NBS have (in recent years) introduced two RS (non ISA) per year. This will be their summer offering (last year was the 5% Summer saver)

Another Branch only offering so not permitted to open via postal system. The actual name of this new account is 'Special Saver' and is an incentive aimed at any new branch of the BS. However, I have been advised that this account can be opened at any branch even though it is not advertised on a national level. One needs to quote the account name and that it has been reported via the internet and mention of Wishbech should be sufficient.
