Hi Everybody,
Apologies for the late update.
I have updated the first page with the information from the posts above, namely:
- Cumberland BS 2.6% account added to post 5 as it requires a current account with Cumberland BS
- Holmesdale BS account entry updated to state now only open to local residents and existing members
- Newcastle BS Big Homer Saver issue 1 replaced with issue 2 paying 2.4% in posts 2 and 8
For the Newcastle BS Big Home Saver, I do not know if they allow one account for each issue. The terms and conditions state: "The Account can be held in single or joint names. There is a maximum of one account per person." I do not know if this means one account per issue or one account overall. I do not intend to open one account for each issue but if you try it then let me know and I can add the information to the entry on page 1.
I will do another update next weekend.

Good morning all!
Here is where I feel a bit of a noob and I dunno if this is new thread worthy or not.
In July my Halifax Online Saver interest rate drops from 1.3% to basic rate. I have the Halifax Reward Current Account which my wage goes into and my DDs and SOs come out of, this account and card has £X00 spend. It'll sound obvious but wage comes in and what's left gets moved to Online Saver, this is the big lump of £X0000. I'm tempted to move lock, stock to Santander for 123, as there isn't enough in or out to do both Santander and keep Halifax Reward.
(I've an ISA maturing on the same day in July, this will be dumped into current ISA to top up to new expanded allowance)
So what advice would people offer for a low risk saver? Ta.0 -

You're more likely to get responses if you open a new thread, as this one is dedicated to Regular Saver Accounts
Have a search around the forum for current accounts which are paying decent rates eg Nationwide FlexDirect, TSB Plus, Lloyds Club, Santander 123 etc etc0 -
Hi Folks,
There is nothing that has changed for this weekend's update.
The next update will be in 2 weeks.

Couple of questions on the 4% Lloyds Regular saver - I cant see anywhere in the T&Cs that it says you have to make a fixed amount each month (i.e. you could vary the S.O) or that the S.O has to be from the Lloyds current account which qualifies you to have this R.S account.
Can anyone clarify please?0 -

Must be between £25 & £400 so can be varied each month. Must be by SO but not specifically from another Lloyds account.
Some speculation as to how Lloyds could identify whether incoming payment from outside Lloyds was SO or FP. I've played safe & set up SO from Club Lloyds account.0
