Does he feel the same about your Louis Vittons he's been wearing about the house too now he knows how much they are worth? :rotfl:

  • Sensible adults would just express how much the t shirt means to them to the owner of the t shirt and they could then simply make their own mind up from there.
  • If he needs the money for something then he should sell it.

If he just sees dollar signs because he's found out it's worth something then he should keep it. It'll unlikely even make that much except in the ideal scenario where he finds a desperate buyer, and even so £80 disappears very quickly. I've done this myself & regretted it many times when I've wasted the money on everyday spending.

    Either way, his choice.
  • If you keep on wearing it then it'll wear out anyway and be worth nowt. Let him sell it while it's still worth something if someone is daft enough to pay £80 for a tee-shirt.

Let him? That sounds very controlling

As you only wear it indoors (!) let him sell it but ask if he'll buy you 3 t-shirts for £11 from Sports Direct - win - win
  • You only wear it around the house, not out, so any old t shirt would do instead, it's his, of course he should sell it if he can get £80 for a secondhand t shirt!

A t shirt you only wear round the house, and you’re asking whether to let your OH sell it? Of course he should if that’s what he wants to do. However, beware of eBay prices - advertising at a price is not the same as selling at a price. eBay is full of over valued goods at ridiculous prices that will never sell!
  • You should ask to keep it, seeing as he probably never wears it and wasn’t bothered about it before. If you love it, fight for it!😂
  • Good lord! £80 for an old t-shirt! Sell it!
