  • Sorry to read about your girl rabbit.
Thank you X It is weird, I tidied everything up yesterday and it all felt surreal. I hadn't had her long but as it was during lockdown I spent a lot of time with her and so wanted things to be better for her.

A minute ago it was nine am and now it is a quarter to 11.......not sure how that happened. I need to get out in the garden.
I have that weird light headed thing going with the breathlessness again. It passes quickly enough and I don't get it at work. I honestly feel like going back to bed. Though I think I will go and have a shower. Get on with stuff.

  • Blooming rain 🌧😩
yep. It really did annoy me yesterday!!
It is not raining today and I really could achieve a lot if I put my mind to it.

  • I am so tired today. Been freezing all day at work. Aside from being cold work is actually ok.
I am mostly just stressed by the fear of bringing the virus home to Mum.
new bun has moved outside. I am still sad about my girl. So sad.
Shed is not as bad as I feared at all. A couple of days of clear weather and I can definitely empty and bin/donate a lot. Plus move stuff from the house - carefully chosen stuff, that I would need at some point. Not just any old !!!!!!.  I am really keen on minimalism. I don't need anything  much really and since I never had children I haven't got anything to leave to anyone to. The pure relief that I can just chuck stuff is amazing! I have no "have tos" in that regard. And not having a significant other means there isn't much sentimental stuff.
Really I need to keep my gardening stuff in there, tools, and pet things. But I don't have much of that. Oh and furniture. Not much, a small shelf, two bedside cabinets and two coffee tables. I need space to store hay (!)
I have lights for the shed too and if I paint the inside it should be quite useable.
This must be the most boring diary entry ever! Talking to myself about a shed..........Life really is a thrill a minute at the moment!!

  • Two weeks till half term.
I jinxed myself with saying work is alright. It isn't. Not at all.
A ridiculous amount of time as a teacher and I still forget that schools will just bleed you dry and not give a crap.
    So depressing.

It sad that work isn’t alright. I’ve seen so many teachers leave to do other things with all the pressure. Take care of yourself 👍
    January spends - £587.58
  • School continued today to be rubbish. I did have a good chat with my new boss but it is the nature of schools to do this.
If I could think of something else I would love as much as actual teaching I would leave. It is always management.
any how. Busy day. need sleep.
    take care all XX

Felt so much better today just because it is FRIDAY and I am not going to work tomorrow.
One of our staff is very ill according to rumours.
I have a load of work to do but selfishly am not working on the weekend.
I was reading Beanie's diary just now and Beanie you will be mortgage free in 6 months. In exactly six months from today it is the 16th of April
By that date I want to have 15,000 in savings purely for the house.
I will work out the details when less sleepy. XXXXX

  • Today I have been super tired. I had to go shopping and take Mum for her flu jab, after that I tried to do some work and I am now watching the Godfather........
Plan for the Winter - as in Daily actions
    1. Bed early, up early, I feel this is boring but necessary during lockdown. Routine is key.
    2. Continue with learning French - it makes me feel like I am keeping my brain alive.
    3. Work at work till 5pm. Actual work not gossiping! ( I do love my work friends)
    4. Do one housework related thing every day.
    5. Do a minimum of 6000 steps a day - not quite up there with SA or Benben but my little fat legs can only take so much.
    6. Do one work related task each day (outside of work)
    7. Read every day
    8. Journal every day (start after half term when I have a desk again)

Things I must do - long term house stuff
    1. Paint the inside of the Summer house.
    2. Paint the inside of the shed
    3. Finish decluttering the shed
    4. Clear out the conservatory and rearrange it
    5. Clear out the spare room and paint it.
    6. Finally paint my room (it is mostly decluttered now) and put the wardrobe up that I bought
    7. I must try to meet my friends outside for walks or something.

If we do go into lockdown for any amount of time I have enough to do clearly!! And most of it is free.

    Money wise
My only goal for the next six months is to save 1000 a month.
