Buffy takes it 6 months at a time

I am in a right mood today. Fed up with having to do all the running around in the house. Mum wants dinner early today so any real plans I had went out the window. I asked her to get Sainsbury's delivered in the morning so she picked 12 -1 hence sitting here, as that was early enough/near enough to morning. Great. Thanks.
I have marinated the chicken with pesto and maple syrup(and olive oil and salt/pepper). Got NO IDEA what it will taste like but since I hate touching raw meat I was lucky I got that far!! We are having it with rice. The dishwasher is having a hissy fit. I will add honey roast parsnips cos I like them. Weird combination. But I never get to eat them!
After dinner I will get out in the garden and we are only having crumpets for tea now so that will be easy.

Chicken was a success, didn't do the parsnips, did a little gardening but too hot for me, anything over 20 and I tend to get the hump! The kitchen is clean and more washing is done.
I had a nap and feel far less wound up. Watching a Miss Marple film.Nevertheless she persisted.4 -
In ye old days I used to work out my debt free day and with being out of debt this has somewhat drifted. I have never made a savings date to "beat"
If I pay 500 each month into my savings by December 1st 2022 I will have another 9000 which will take me to 20,000.
I must beat that. It seriously cannot take me that long.Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
Current House saving = 11,003.40 (that three pounds forty is so important!)
CC bill - 68.
General savings - 600
Recent spending has been nuts. I just decided to have a month of buy what ever you want! That resulted in a 700ish credit card bill - to be fair, I got the new Bun (did I tell you guys) so with insurance that was 195, I bought a small hutch, which in hindsight I didn't need... So have just sent an email to try and cancel it. I paid the CC bill with this month's spending money so have 60 to my name, with 200 borrowed from general savings in case. I am out tonight and tomorrow but that is it. I have a stack of marking to do. I wish my room was straight and the rabbits outside. I wish. Never gets you any where! Oh I need to take to house bun to the vets. And new girl to vaccinated - her arrival has perked up house bun no end.
I have housework to do. hmmm.
Catch you all later XXXNevertheless she persisted.1 -
Sorry about your friend and your friend's mum Buffy. Life can be incredibly cruel.
Maybe just try to tackle one thing on your list per week? Or re your room, a draw a day or something?!1 -
Hutch has been successfully cancelled! The company were great. I have no CC bill, once the refund comes through, plus I have another refund due too so might have a credit.
To be honest I doubt it as am out for lunch tomorrow in a pub so I suspect after a couple of vodkas the credit card will make an appearance! Would much rather be in debt* seeing my wonderful friends then for a hutch!
* I will pay it off before the interest hits.

I am thinking of something like that. I have this thing about wanting it all done before the end of term so everything is over with and I am freer to go away etc.
Gardener is coming Friday. That is positve. Tho need to find the shiny cash for him.Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
Gardener has been and is brilliant. He has done half the very neglected lawn and removed the evil stinging nettles.
I am so excited! He will come back next week too, maybe twice since it started to rain today. I feel like he is going to be a great help in my plans. Which might finally happen!Nevertheless she persisted.3 -
Today, off the back of the gardener I cleared more of the garden rubbish, went to the tip 3 times! So much crap to gotten rid of. I am shattered, done 13834 steps and 67 active minutes. Plus the back of the garden looked so much better! I got rid of the excess rubbish, the last lot of stuff from the shed when it leaked, some garden "stuff" that just seems to accumulate (pots, broken trays).
Does anyone else watch would I lie to you? Am absolutely dying of laughter here.
Can't focus at all.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
