I am happy to organise it. I would pull names out of a hat and match pairs to send Christmas cards to each other. Not a problem if you guys aren't keen but thought i'd check as it was a nice thing to do xx£2 savers club 2025 #2= £484

Hi everyone
l’ve not posted for ages but have been reading all the posts regularly. I’m still working from home (from my bedroom) and no sign of getting back to the office this year.
Always look forward to Christmas but it probably won’t be the same this year. I enjoyed a meal with 5 work colleagues last year but, as we are in Scotland, the current restrictions (6 people from 2 households) mean that we won’t even be able to do this.
Even trying to get gifts for people will be more challenging this year. I certainly won’t be buying vouchers as there is too much risk of companies going into administration.
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Officially started my Christmas stuff so can come and join you now! Got DD's cards for her school friends from card factory as they had some with cats on and she's obsessed with cats. Picked up a few bits from the Claire's 3 for £5 sale although I was pretty disappointed in the selection this year compared to previous years. Also picked her up some diary of a wimpy kid and Tom Gates books from charity shops
If anyone's looking for stocking fillers our Wilkos had frozen and Harry potter mini jigsaws and frozen pens for 20p, and all their summer stuff reduced to around 15/20p including bubble wands and bubble guns. They also had some of their wooden baby toys at 75% off so there was some bargains to be had!6 -
Hello everyone
A bit more Christmas shopping done today, however I felt distinctly uneasy being out and about despite being slathered in antibacterial and wearing a mask. I went to a small retail park, and got there well before the shops were open, but it was so crowded (and nobody was allowing any distance anywhere, especially in the lengthy till queues). I might not be comfortable enough to do any weekend shopping again for a while 😔Anyhow, I got what I’d gone for : a smashing Sherpa fleece (thank you so much for the recommendation!) from Matalan, and a set of wooden dolls house furniture to go with the dolls house we have bought for tiny granddaughter. She’s only two so a bit young for it now, but she’s growing so rapidly it won’t be long!I forgot to mention earlier, but a good place online for stocking fillers etc is Rex London (used to be the dotcomgiftshop). I’ve just had a boxful delivered from them - they have a sale on at the moment which is quite good although I found I had to really search through the site as not all sale items necessarily showed up in the sale tab, which is frustrating. Postage is £3.95 but free for orders over £30. I got quite a few bits for stockings and advent calendars, plus a cute little wooden cooking set (it’s just two small wooden saucepans on a wooden board made to look like a 2 ring cooker, but it was reduced to £4.95 and tiny granddaughter will love it!)7 -

The second picture looks pretty dark, but it’s really nice when you are sitting in the living room and I also have Fairy lights on some twigs I put on every night in the other corner. I’m not lighting the pillar candles until near the end of autumn, I’m happy just burning my jar from home bargains.I said to husband I really want to start making more of an effort with decorating for the seasons especially after the rubbish year we have had so farTime to find me again4
