princesskitty29 said:Hi all, just quickly popping on to say I noticed this morning that the full Matalan Christmas shop is open on their website. Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I haven’t got time to read back right now, will try to catch up later. xxThey are lovely and I like having a mooch through their stuff - added bonus is that there is one round the corner from husbands work so I can get him to nip in and pick some bits up for me too!Time to find me again7

Have done a little bit more Christmas shopping today whilst I have been having dizzy spells from my Ménière’s (it’s 7.23pm and I’m still waiting for the doctor to call me back!)
fingers crossed he does though but I’m glad my son is off tomorrow so if I need help on the school run then I can ask his help.So far have picked up a few unworn hoodies on eBay for my daughter. They look in really good condition but don’t have tags on them and tbh she is 11-12 so will probably outgrow them within a few months. Won 2 so far and have paid a grand total of £7.20 , one ends in about half hour so I will have spent about £11 I think in total.Thinking I will leave buying any games for Hollys switch under Black Friday/cyber Monday weekend as I might be able to grab a few bargains then. Also going to save up for husbands helmet then too as I think they will have money off as well so I’m saving up at the minute :-)
also made a list of hot chocolate sachets I’ve found ready for Hollys hot chocolate hamper and my friend just brought a cricut machine so she’s going to make me some stickers for her marshmallow and flake storage tubsTime to find me again8 -
Sammy hope the doc rang you back - its really hard to get hold of them lately. Some great bargains on the hoodies. I'm sure dd will love a hot choc hamper - I'm doing a hot choc station again this year
I'm hoping there will be some good black friday/cyber monday offers this year but I do wonder if there will be less deals due to the fact that more people are shopping online for the bulk of there stuff so the demand is there already- I know its showing in usual sales as most of the usual deals/offers have not happened so far this year. The lack of next day/fast shipping is likely to have an impact too as people will be buying earlier to make sure things arrive in time.
C J no recommendations for a specific fleece as not seen any in person yet but I would highly recommend the ones with the sherpa fleece side they are so warm. I got a lovely xmas one in primark last year it was about £18 but it was big enough to cover 3 of us on the sofa and had a really thick fluffy sherpa fleece on one side.
I'm a little annoyed this morning as the details for PS5 were released last night and while the price is better than I expected the pre orders went live with no warning in the middle of the night so by time I got up they are sold out everywhereI see lots of website stalking happening in my future in the hope more units will become available. I knew they were going to sell out but they should have done what microsoft have and had a set date & time for them to open to give people a fair chance.
Taz got a nike tshirt for his birthday and he loves it (he can be really funny about clothes due to his asd) I found the same ones on offer so I've ordered him a couple more in other colours for xmas
Its great to see all the xmas shops popping up online I've spent far too long browsing lately and have a list of things I'm hoping to buy I'm just finding it frustrating that so many things I'm after are oos/coming soon
found some blue & white snowflake sprinkles in Sains so picked those up for the hot choc station
Has anyone seen any reasonably priced dressing up sets for toddlers(2-4 years)? you used to be able to buy a chest filled with different dresses ect but I can't seem to find anything other than individual outfits and blimey those have gotten expensive £10-£15+ each.this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk6 -

But seen some in Morrison’s the other day half price just now. It comes in a little kit for photo frames and you make the designs out of little Lego dots. My youngest dd is going to love them. Have put them past for Xmas.My 15 year old wants clothes for her Xmas, but her taste is changing. Usually it’s skinny jeans/leggings and either teeny tiny tops or over sized hoodies. But now she’s wanting baggier jeans and skater skirts 🙄 I’m going to have to wait until closer to Xmas to order her anything. I did say I’d be buying her straightens and a hair drier. I’m fed up hunting for mine every morning.I’m loving my autumn display on the side board. I got some Orange and black glitter pumpkins from Home bargains, Orange pillar candles, orange and purple jar candles and then I found some cute lights on eBay. They have maple leaves on them and little orange pumpkin lights. So and night it’s cosy and a nice atmosphere. I’d add a picture if I knew how 😂 I have to keep arguing that it’s not a Halloween display and I’m not too early, it’s autumnal.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:6

Ok that was easier than I thought 😂 I’m sure it used to be harder to add a pic so I never did it. The second picture looks pretty dark, but it’s really nice when you are sitting in the living room and I also have Fairy lights on some twigs I put on every night in the other corner. I’m not lighting the pillar candles until near the end of autumn, I’m happy just burning my jar from home bargains.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:7

Ah that looks lovely and cosy. Bit of a standstill here gifts wise. Running low on ideas and money! Although I suspect everything is about to get harder to come by again, if this second wave of CV takes hold6
