Thanks jwil:)
You are right . Decluttering paperwork is tedious
It's another thing for me to stop whining about in the scheme of things
It's something that everyone has to do in the end ..
While I was going through the paperwork yesterday , I found the installation disk and am in the process of trying to get it going again.
It's 13 years old ,and is slower than me on a bad day .
I could just bin it , and have my music going from my iMac in the bedroom to my tv via the Apple TV box I have in the living room.
The only thing about that is, is that I have to keep going into the other room to change albums etc.
I sold a foot pedal for approx £20 yesterday . Initially £25 but once you take the postage and PayPal costs out then it's less than you think
Having said that , I bought it from someone on the bass guitar forum about 5/6 years ago and never used it so it's a good thing to offload it
In a weird but not bad mood today. I went to bed late last night for a Change. I woke up around 8.30 from a text message from dhl
They delivered a duvet cover from the range. Good service
I went to local Sainsbury's without taking medication or breakfast .
That's what forgetting to turn the heating off when going to bed can do to you .
Yesterday , I paid my final outstanding council tax bill of £20 which it has been for most of last year. I would imagine I won't be so lucky with the small amount in March onwards . We'll see. ..

I woke up around 3.30am . Managed to get to sleep again at around 5.30, then forced myself to get up around 8.30 am .
I went to the post office and sent the effects pedal to the buyer. It cost £3.00 to post second class. I expected it to be more . All good .
I've just finished shredding all the unnecessary paperwork at long last .
I just have to tidy what's left and find somewhere to put it apart from the obvious . What I noticed going through everything , is that edf love paperwork . Out of everything I've been through, it seems edf have given me more clutter than anybody else .
I will probably change suppliers this time around when this contract is up,. I have had a basin full of that company and a new start is what is required .
I have just had my last packets of crisps for hopefully sometime .
I deliberately stuffed my face like a squirrel storing nuts , but I'll be going back to the gym on Monday . Mr. Trainer won't be there, but I aim to to mon/ weds / fri next week. He'll be back the following week.
Speaking of health stuff, I stumbled across a health card with my prednisolone dosage in 2015. At the beginning I was on 60mg /12 tablets . Looking at that , I realised it's a major achievement to cut them out completely . No wonder I was the inflatable gas balloon.
I messed up the settings on my old Mac mini yesterday , and I think I'll just bin it . I transferred all of the stuff to my new imac when I got that
I've emptied that large plastic crate of paperwork . If I could drive I could take it somewhere . I'm not sure if I could leave it outside a charity shop or something .
I have a massive king size quilt to dispose of , plus the 2 others that are on my bed at present .
Still making slow progress ...
Well done on the cheap postage, I always seem to miscalculate.
I've not had any dealing with EDF but definitely worth the change if not working for you.
I've got loads of paperwork you can shred if you want it? It's currently mounting up in the conservatory.
Have fun at the gym next week, I seem to have found a new love for mine.

Animal charities like old quilts, and might come to collect from you, if you ring them and let them know you have no transport.
Great idea about the animal charities Gigervamp . That is something I will look into .
Would you believe , I'm actually paperless with edf ..
Much of the stuff sent to me was telling me that they were changing my direct debit payments . Then there was the time I moved and used my friends address for a while . Then there of course was the usual bombardment of smart meter reminders etc .
Regarding edf. I have been with them for many years ( more fool me),always signing up to their cheapest tariff whenever prompted .
However, if I get the boiler grant through the eon eco scheme , I'll go with them . If not, I'll find the best deal this year and move anyhow.
My new bed is due to be delivered on weds 13th jan . This means I have to have a word with Dorset reclaim and arrange collection of the kingsize . It will cost £36 inc mattress . What will probably happen is that I'll have to sleep on the inflatable mattress for a couple of days .
I'll have to see if I need to dismantle it before the guys arrive .
It's a nice bed . It has 2 glass bedside table type things on it .
Amazon are delivering my new bedding today . In the meantime , I have to look for local animal charities in the area for collection of my old duvets etc .
I missed the bit where you got the boiler grant. That will be a great help as boiler's cost thousands.
Well done on your win.
I haven't got boiler grant yet . I'm still awaiting visit from eon .
They have an eco scheme . I'd say I'll probably get a new boiler but will have to pay a few hundred towards it. For some reason , I got better vibes on the phone from them opposed to the moody woman from edf.
I just phoned waggy tales charity near me. They are not taking duvets for now . Annoying . I'll have to continue my search .
