I have a feeling a lot of people are giving up on this site due to new layout 7 days ago, which is a shame .Anyway , a couple of updates : I purchased an electric toothbrush half price in Superdrug the other day 🦷. The young chap at the till charged at full price . Not his fault and it was rectified before I left the store . I had a few battery ones over the years but I find that they get faulty after a while and the holder gets loose and is a pita 🧻to fix when you are strapped for time .Saw mr trainer and tbh the only thing that is bothering me there, is my inability to stop crisps which is making my belly stick out. He mentioned an air fryer. This would mean I could make my own without any fats etc . So I purchased one from Argos for less than £40
When I received it , there were a few marks on it . Is this because of where it's made? 😷So I ordered a replacement which will arrive tomorrow between 7-10 am . The same time that the one I have now is collected. Closing the lid on the box , was a major pain . Let's just say that the box is more creased now .Tomorrow till Tuesday it will be peeing down ☔️💨🚽...3 -
Got replacement air fryer sent to me from argos . No marks on this one . Had to make sure I was up before 07.25 this morning . My local friend wants to meet up with me for a lunchtime Guinness . Not corona tho 🍺😷 having said that , corona is nice but too expensive in the scheme of things .3

Glad you are happy with the fryer.
I think you are right about people being put off using the forum because of the changes. I am having to force myself and I'm posting less often. That said I want to stay as over the years MSE has helped me stay on track in so many ways.

Hello Mrs. P 😸
Thanks for asking . I think that a few people have given up on this site because of the upgrades , and/or lack of interest 😿.I'll see what gives ,and decide whether to continue or not . I'm still bearing up under the strain 🧸 .Hope everything is fine with yourself 🐶4 -
Is anybody here ? 🗣
Anyway , just another update on what's going on for my own sanity 💊
Yesterday , was a day of phone calls . ☎️On the bus to Poole for some food shopping ,🛒 I had a call from eon energy. I paid £240 for boiler installation . Just awaiting a call for date to be installed . That phone call couldn't come soon enough ! Washing cups , saucers, pans and cutlery in Luke warm water isn't fun. Having lukewarm showers that last about 20 secs is no fun either 🚿
Phone call from work related group ( seetec pluss) asking me to go on a hospitality course
Im mulling it over , but it would mean me missing training for a month and also the Tuesday courses ( road to work / confidence ) also . I will send email later .
Had chat with job coach on my phone interview . I asked if there were any vacancies at the job centre for early morning archiving or computer input 🖥.I was told probably not, but if there is it would be voluntary. I said I'd do once a week to start off with if there was. Not sure if that was a good idea or not ..
I then got a note in my universal credit journal about ground rent and service charges .
i am to provide further evidence . After phoning the northern Irish lady , it seems the best course of action is to send my last statement to job coach . I don't fancy another appointment . I know it's a free post address, but I found 2 second class stamps 🗾that are old and it may speed up process by a day or so .Another friend phoned me yesterday , and has said ive bern very quiet . No, I've been very busy ! Or at least I think so anyway .
Will be seeing mr. Trainer shortly . 🏋️♂️4 -
