Well done all on your losses :T:T:T:T. The chart is looking good and not always easy this time of year with left over Christmas stuff
Blue Doggy you've just reminded I was going to buy red chicory, as I do like it griddled, it's now added to my shopping list
Sarah they do say no food should be banned as it just means we just want it more. Last Christmas I was given Belgium chocolates (those shaped as sea horses) and found when I left them on the table every time I walked past I was tempted so I decanted them to a lock & lock box and put out of sight and treated myself to one every night after dinner with a cuppa and that was enough to satisfy the cravens
Grey and drizzling day so I didn't do my planned walk into town which would have been four miles round trip, at least the kitchen and bathroom floors got washed
B -
L - 2 boiled eggs
D - roast venison, braised red cabbage with apple and fennel seeds, roast parsnips and turnips, French and runner beans
S - grapes & 2 squares of dark chocolate (a la Sarah)Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Well done everyone :T there have been some great losses.
I started eating healthier last Monday when I returned to work, however, prefer my weigh in day to be Friday. So weigh in for Friday 10th and reporting a 1lb loss . Not a lot but I'm still pleased, back to what I weighed before Christmas.Well Behaved women seldom make history

Well done :T a loss is still a loss and a 1lb a week is over 3 stone a year.

Good evening everyone
Mrs motivated well done on the loss! :j
Brambling I like chicory in winter salads, and the red variety adds nice colour. I’ve never actually got round to cooking it, maybe this year I will.
I was very happy to find I’ve lost 3lbs as of this morning. It’s probably just the easy stuff, but welcome nonetheless.:j
Today:
B: porridge made with water
D roast lamb, cauliflower, spiced green beans and tomatoes, yogurt with raspberries
T: chicken with salad of white chicory, apple, and beetroot
S: one square of 85% dark chocolate
Wishing you all a good week“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Great start Blue Doggy :T.
I like the chicory either griddled or roasted with fennel and prefer the red, not sure if it tastes different to the white or if it's all in the mind
I went into town today with my sister, I needed to take something back (it was too big) and she needed something for work. I did pick up a 'too good not to' two custard tarts for 20p I'm M&S I blamed her as I didn't anything in the food hall

Good morning everyone :hello:
I went to stand on my super duper talking scales to find them eerily quiet, yes, the batteries had run out. After sending my son for a quick scavenger hunt around the house we found 4 AA's so I managed to weigh myself and I was very glad I did. I have lost 6lb since Christmas so that is a great start for the year.
I am going to have a pretty stressful day today due to a visitor coming to see me but this news has really cheered me up. I won't list my food today because I don't have a clue what I am going to eat. Hope you all have a great day xx0 -
Well done everyone
reporting a 4lb loss since 1st Jan, weigh in on the first saturday was a bust due to dead scales.

Well done everyone on the losses, so many smiley faces is a really good start to the year.
I weighed myself this morning and am -7.5lb lighter than last Monday. It sounds really good but I think the vast majority will be the difference between what I ate last Sunday and what I ate yesterday :rotfl:
My dinner yesterday ended up being somewhat lighter (in food weight if not calories) than intended. I'd made sausage, mash and onions but everything had a weird, slightly perfumed, taste to it. After about the 3rd mouthful I realised that I'd made gravy in the jug that my husband had used the day before to dilute some zoflora...
The sausages were mercifully gravy free so I ate them and the rest of my dinner, and the jug, went in the bin. I may have had crisps and chocolate to take the taste away...
Best of luck everyone for the week ahead xx0
