  • That's good news about the debt being passed to the DCA, it took them long enough! Hopefully you can get a F&F on it soon.

Shame about your mini eggs disappearing though.

So are you planning an Easter egg hunt to make up for it? I bought some eggs so we can still do a hunt - my kids are 16 and 22 but still go mad if I don't do one.

  • How long is your leave? Have you got any plans for it? It's difficult to have plans at the moment I know as there are so many restrictions.

I'm so relieved to be on leave now!  Two weeks of not having to deal with moaning people and not having to go anywhere :) It's funny to think that everything will possibly be completely different again by the time I go back.

I have no real plans, will potter around, do stuff with the kids and declutter some books

It looks like the weather is going to be quite warm and nice so I'm looking forward to that.  I'll see what we can achieve in the house and the garden.  Try and get a nice bit of decluttering and spring cleaning done!  We've already got quite a pile built up ready for when the recycling centres open again.  The same for if we get any car boots at all this year.

The kids have done a load of pictures today to say thank you to all the different key workers out there.  We've put them up so that they can be seen by passers by.

I've done an inventory of what we've got in the freezers, and will do the same for the kitchen cupboards this weekend. It will be handy to know what we've got and to keep an eye on it all so that we can go out as little as possible.

I went shopping last night and it was a nightmare.  They had a one way system round the shop and I was just stuck there for ages as there were so many people just standing around chatting, handling everything and dithering generally.  Where normally I would nip in and nip out, I had to go all the way around the shop and was stuck around people for much longer than I would have been.  I get why they are doing it, and it's a fair policy really, as always, it's the minority of people who are making it not work!  I won't go back there, I'll try a different one next week or just use the local or farm shop instead.
Your plans for your holiday sound good Jwil :).

Your supermarket trip sounds awful and all the dithery people would drive me potty 😱. I do think stopping for a chat is a bit selfish when people are queuing outside 😡. I'm beginning to see why the queues are so long!

Thank you, yes, it really irritated me.  Plus presumably the people behind me!
