I have also ended all my ebay listings except a couple that have watchers on them. They will be closed next weekend if they dont sell. I took 2 parcels to the PO today and they said there are huge delays on deliveries so there doesnt seeem much point in continuing and cuts down the times I need to go out.

I've got a splitting headache today. I haven't been sleeping well which is probably part of it. I'm not drinking enough either - that should be easy to rectify!
I've been diverted to answer some of the enquiries coming in at work. I cannot believe how selfish some people are. It's all about how inconvenienced they are, no consideration at all for the wellbeing of others.
I just want to say thank you to every single person out there who is a key worker and continuing to work to help us all have basic services. Many of us appreciate everything you do, and we are not all inconsiderate twonks."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney7 -
Well said JWIL. Hope your headache goes away. Look after yourself in all of this too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

The only people out there are key workers and the 'corona deniers'. Corona deniers are very angry at key workers for not doing everything like we aren't in the middle of a pandemic. It's pretty pants risking your family every day just to get shouted at and coughed on. I do not know how the NHS workers are doing it.
I think calling a halt on Ebay is wise. I can't believe I'm still getting junk mail. Poor posties.
My only advice is be firm but fair.
My kids are up the wall too. Very clingy. Still we've finally got sunshinemakes it all easier to deal with xxx

It makes it so much easier with the sun, I hope your kids settle."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney4 -
I've had a better day today. I had a real anxiety attack last night, perhaps that got it out of my system for a bit.
I've still been dealing with these people, but I've caught up with the backlog for our CS team.
DH has taken over a lot of the 'school' stuff today which has helped as well.
I'm off after next week as well, so counting down the days.
Payday will be interesting next week. We haven't had notification of what our new mortgage payment will be following the second cut, though the new rate is showing in our account. I have a month's grace for nursery fees, no after school club, no swimming. No general spending. DH has been furloughed though so he will only be on 80% of his wages. It's a lot better than being laid off though!
I was worried about my MOT which was due next week, and the garage called to cancel the other day. I'm very relieved about the 6 months grace period as I wasn't sure I'd be able to get it done anywhere else.
DH is gradually working his way through stuff and prepping for ebay and the car boots whenever it all starts up again. The kids seem to be fairly happy with their new routine. 'Working' in the morning, and then free to do what they want in the afternoon. They have spent lots of time in the garden and on the trampoline so it's been great to see the sunny weather. It's a shame it seems to be ending, fingers crossed it comes back soon.
Hope everyone is well."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney5
