Hope your family all recover quickly. It would be great if you could also get your money back - but health most important. Hugs. It's a difficult time for everyone.

Thanks everyone :)  I think we are going to get 50% back, I'm happy with that.  The park was still open so wasn't expecting anything.

Struggling a bit today.  I don't think I've managed to balance everything at all.  I got up at 5 to try and get my work hours out of the way, then got dragged into an urgent task so worked most of the day anyway.  Little jwil has done a bit of work, little miss wants attention. I feel like I'm constantly glued to the laptop.  Hopefully things will improve and we get into more of a routine.  I've only got to get through this week and next week and then I'm on two weeks leave which hopefully will help.

The silver lining is I don't have to pay for afterschool club, the kids swimming or ballet, or my gym membership.  I'm not sure what's happening about nursery fees.  I'm not spending on petrol.  Hopefully I can make some headway with my targets as a result, but that will depend on what happens with DH's job and what he gets paid.

The biggest thing that worries me is that Little jwil and little miss left so abruptly, they didn't get a chance to say goodbye to their friends or collect all their stuff.  Little jwil was really upset that he'd made a Mother's day card and had left it at school.
I'm also worried that little miss won't get to go back to nursery.  She will be so gutted.  She keeps asking when she's going back.
Hopefully we will get on top of this all.

It is sad for the children as most of them enjoy school/nursery :(. But children do adapt quickly luckily. It's going to take a while for us all to get used to a new way of working and living, but hopefully it'll get easier in time.

I really hope it helps with the finances anyway :).

Yes, I'll probably be more upset than her.

    Fingers crossed :)

Just ending all of DH's ebay listings.  I've been in two minds about it whilst the post offices are open, but think it's for the best now.  Ebay have taken away the ability to bulk end them so I've got to do them all individually which is time consuming and annoying!  Hopefully I can persuade DH to revise some of them or take them off completely if they've been on for a while.
