Back to work today and the kids are back to school tomorrow. I had a catch up with my line manager, and we are heading back to the office at the end of the month 😱 I'm only going in one day a week initially so it won't be too bad, but it will be weird for sure! Annoyingly there are major roadworks near work so commuting will be a nightmare. At least it's only one day a week! If I do a long day I'll miss the evening rush hour too, so will just have to compete with the morning one.
I had a spendy weekend again 🙄 I've ordered some new trainers and also some insoles which I hope will help with my foot pain. I've also ordered a couple more tops to prepare for the autumn/winter and for going back to work. I've ordered little miss's birthday gifts. So much for a less spendy month!
I've done a bit more walking towards my 50 mile target as well, so am at 6 miles now. I hope to be over 10 miles by the weekend as I'll be walking to school.
Not much else to report, I'd better have a last minute panic to get everything ready for school!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -

It's fine though, as the ones I used to wear to work look far too tatty now to get away with, so I would have needed to replace them anyway. I'll wait until I've got some more vouchers or survey money before I buy something else though!

I'm quite happy to go back one day a week. I think it will be nice to see people again, though I think I prefer working from home as a general rule!

5 parcels posted again this week, it's trickling out!
I wore my new trainers and the new insoles this morning, and I don't know if it was just the novelty, but they really felt like they had adjusted my posture. I found the walk easier than normal and was quicker too. It will be interesting to see if it continues.
I've hit 10 miles today on my 50 miles challenge, so need to average around 2 miles a day for the rest of the month."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
It most definitely is still trickling out. You're still the ebay whizz!
