Happy weekend everyone! And Happy week off to me, hurrah! I do have to log on to finish a report at some point, but that's purely down to me not focussing enough today to get it finished 🙄🤦♀️ Hopefully it won't take long as I've set up the bare bones.
I'm shattered and hoping for an early night tonight. No real plans for the week, I hope to get some chilling time in. The kids have been out loads this week so hopefully they won't want to do too much next week.
I spent on my new CC this week to get the kid's Xmas presents. I am concerned that with all the delivery/shipping issues and chip shortages that there might be issues closer to Christmas. I'll pay it off next week when I get paid. I think we got a pretty good deal too, so that's good. There was an offer for free next day delivery but when I put the code in it knocked £5 off the balance instead so that was even better as I'm in no hurry for them 😁"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Good call to get the presents early.

Little miss was sick last night, so we've had a quiet day today. She has been absolutely fine all day (and was yesterday) so I'm guessing a little too much junk yesterday or something.
Little jwil had swimming and we've just chilled out at home. I did take a couple of hours to finish that report so that's all done now and I can enjoy my holiday! The kids beds have been stripped and washed, and I did a big scrub of the bathroom and their bedroom as well as all the touch points around the house just in case it's a bug."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". You sound so good jwil. So together and top of things. Is it because of all the time off do you think? Or because you have more control at home now? Or maybe because your debt is so teeny tiny? You've been rocking all of your budget now for so long. It's amazing and you're so inspiring xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

No futher signs of illness in anyone thankfully. Little miss is insisting on parkrun this morning, so we are off there after swimming. It's good as it means little jwil will do it too, and he's more like me in that he'd rather be at home doing nothing.
I'm a bit annoyed. I did an Iceland order for today and the item I was actually needing is out of stock, so I feel I've wasted the money. I haven't as it's all needed at some point, but I wouldn't have bought most of it *right now* if it hadn't been for the item I needed."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hey @jwil I’m catching up with your diary but I’ve got quite a few pages to get through. So just thought I’d pop in and say hi in the mean time.5
