Well done doingitanyway! :T:TYou would have to work pretty hard from here to reach 20 but 20 is a pretty high target, and hard to reach, plus any NSD is better than none! Go for it though

Yesterday was a planned spend day (I count planned grocery shopping as a spend day) but today we resisted - even walking past Greggs after a frustrating appointment without treating ourselves, and not buying the dog a treat when checking out a new local pet shop.
This challenge is 100% changing our habits by making us think twice about those silly little spends which added up!

This is exactly how I feel. It's almost upsetting to realise how easily the pennies have slipped through my fingers previously. So many pointless purchases
I managed number 9/15 on Thursday, and almost had yesterday nailed before DH enticed me out last night. Did stick to dry Jan and only had a couple of soft drinks and a game of pool - nothing like my previous Friday nights :rotfl:. Today was a spendy day anyway as it's a friend's birthday, however I'll be aiming for number 10 tomorrow!£12k in 25 #14 £10,474.10/£18k 24 #14 £15,653.11/£18k 23 #14 £17,195.80/£18k 22 #20 £23,024.86/£23k0 -
NSD 14/20 today and hoping for another tomorrow
deleting "saved cards" on my phone is really helping I'm coming onto this website instead of browsing for stuff
have a great weekend

Morning all, Happy Sunday to you all. I'm still on 9 NSD
I was really hoping to make it 10 yesterday, but it was my friends birthday and I was popping to see her for a coffee and thought it would be nice to take some danish pastries for us to have with our cuppa.......to be honest my waist line would have thanked me for not having it, but my friend really appreciated it! It was only a couple of pounds though, and on the plus side that's all I bought, which is good for me....
Not sure about today - really, really, really want a NSD, no plans other than meeting a friend for a dog walk this morning and then cooking Sunday lunch, and I've got everything in for that I need, I should, hopefully make double figures today!
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday! :j0 -
Well done TrushTush, Van_Girl and jammy dodger
:T:T:T:T:A So pleased to hear the challenge is helping people rethink purchases and I can't agree more, it has stopped me from buying lots of stupid stuff, I am quite sure.
Today will be 14/15 for me, if all goes well!0 -

Happy Monday, I don't think you should feel bad about generosity to a friend on her birthday - you probably made her day, so it's all good. :A Also, you only spent a couple of quid all dayYou have a lovely Sunday too and go for it with the NSD today xx

I've made it to 9/12 - no spend yesterday (apart from paying a water bill that was planned in).
The coming week will be tricky - I have my mum's birthday coming up so I'll be going out to get her a card and present, and I'm also going to need to do my weekly food shop - not normally a big deal but I'm working an awkward shift at work which will means I'll have to fork out on a taxi to get to the shops twice this week (so I have enough time to do the shopping I need).
On the plus side I have 2x vouchers for a free lunch at work, so will save some money thereSave £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)

Well done delta13:T:T You're so close to your goal anyway that I doubt that an upcoming tricky week will slow you down much!
