Good morning everyone!
Day without my newbie today so I can have a proper catch up on things and diarieshe is doing well, I will feel comfortable handing over my role to him when the time comes. Today I'm going to email my boss and broach the idea of using up 3 days annual leave to have (after this week) the remaining three Fridays as annual leave, so I would do 4 x 4 day weeks up until I leave which would be nice.
SE wages went in today so need to do a shuffle with things there, and need to do an order for kittens wet food, dry food AND litter but the company does free next day delivery for how much it'll come to, so not too bad in the grand scheme of things
I am SO glad the temperature has dropped, our reception is basically a big glass room on one side so it's been horrendous even with fans but soooo much better today.
Right, time to go and make myself a coffee and then do some catching up!3 -
Just updating to say my boss OK'd my request to take one day off per week for the next few weeks but one will be a Friday, then a Wednesday, then a Tuesday, which is fine by me
the Wednesday is a day that OH is off each week anyway, and I believe the Tuesday follows the bank hol so not a bad week at all
x

figured as the rest of my accrued annual leave still covers my week off between jobs, I'd rather take an extra day off each week than lose some of the extra pay to the tax man when it comes in my final pay lol
