Thanks holmes!
Got the bug this morning so went through with a fine toothed comb and worked out I could pay £49.99 to a general debt and still have a teeny bit of contingency money left, so general debt total now stands at £350.72/£5500
(OH would rather I just make a lump payment in a couple of weeks than bits here and there so made a one-off to general debt) x2 -

Happy weekend
Does anyone else's house get worse before it gets better when they tidy LOL. Have wiped the sofa down, all of the washing is done and the last bit is drying outside, hoovered, mopped, washed out the litter box, tidied the under stairs cupboard and currently doing a deep clean for the washing machine. However, the house doesn't look any better
Stopping for a coffee, then need to clean myselfdesperate for a shower but there wasn't much point before gutting and cleaning the house!
Food shop later, not much else planned at all. Keen to stick to the budget as much as possible this month (deja vu for every other time I've said that), which is much easier if I don't go near the shopsneed to fix OH's trousers that have a hole in, also probably going to try to do some SE work through the day.
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine xx2 -
I think everyone's house gets worse before it gets better when you're sorting stuff out! DH and I have a "work room" each so his is full of tools, paint etc and mine is my sewing room/office. We've spent the last 2 or 3 days sorting both rooms out and DH had a piece of LO worktop in his room and he's put that up in my room so I now have separate surfaces for my sewing machine and overlocker and if I want to cut out and I can just move the overlocker back onto the same bit as the sewing machine and I've got a great area for cutting out!
I'm sure your house does look better after the sorting out. Just getting the understairs cupboard sorted means it much look better, they are always the place where stuff gets dumped because it's a case of out of sight out of mind!

Mine looks a lot worse before it gets better - main thing that puts me off doing it at all. Well done on what you've achieved. Fancy coming here and doing the same. My cleaner hasn't been since mid March LOL and you can tell!!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Happy Monday!
Had a lovely weekend with the weather, saw OH's kids and got a bit sunburnt but a lovely weekend
Today's plan is to watch my emails like a hawk for a link for a video viewing of a house that is literally on the street next to where we are, so truly it would be ideal. I've agreed with OH that if it's nice on the video viewing (the pictures are really nice) then I'm just to try and be the first person to get some application forms in as there is apparently a lot of interest, hence emailing out a link for the video viewing.
£240.26 of DD's gone out this morning so now standing at £590.28/£5500 so over 10% of the way there! Two more DD's to come out through the month but anything after that will be overpayments.
I look hilariously clumsy at the moment, obviously I have a very gross nail (although it looks like I won't be losing it) on one hand from shutting it in the door, then last night I was relocating the kitten from scratching the side of the sofa to his scratching post that was literally behind him, but couldn't be bothered to get up so just tapped his scratching post and he did turn round and start scratching that instead, but I didn't move my hand out the way quickly enough and he caught my thumb (but he was aiming for the post!!!) and sliced it a bit so have a plaster on the other hand nowah well, my own fault for being too lazy. I did notice this morning he is definitely teething as he only really has his four fangs at the moment, the rest have fallen out ready to come back through
