Me again
Kitten is fine - I was out by over 1kg somehow so will be more careful next timestill, he has his treatments now ready for me to sort out later on.
Will also be pottering in the garden tonight, it's been a bit neglected as I don't like shutting the kitten indoors all of the time but I need to pull out some weeds, do a LOT of dead heading, put some more compost down and give everything a good soak and feed. Despite this, it looks like I'll have some raspberries and blackberries soon - yum!
A few tidying bits need doing, hoovering the lounge (tracked cat litter), emptying the bins, date-checking the fridge.
Once all that is done and I've had dinner, I just plan to put my feet up and do a little pampering. Thinking face mask and painting my nails as, whilst the finger I shut in the door looks better and isn't sore, it's still fairly obvious
Right, time to plough through some more work until it's time to escape again2 -

Hi MSE
Thought I'd posted this morning but obviously not
Some good news - nagged, nagged and nagged some more at OH yesterday to call the energy supplier, and again today and he finally did it, £580 going back into his account within 7 days and after this month's DD it is going to drop by £87!!!! Once he's made that payment, I'll phone up and transfer it all to my name just so I know all of the faffing with the refund and DD change has been done. Don't know if he is going to offer me any but if he does I'll tell him just to take it off of what I owe him.
Not much else to report from my end, a few hours SE work done today, popped and saw my grandparents for socially distanced lunch and a coffee, then spending time at home with OH tonight as he is not at work. I will save on fuel tomorrow as we are going to a BBQ after I finish work which makes it pointless for both of us to commute to work and drive home, so he will drop me at work and then drive home from the BBQ.
Onto the trial of a third cat litter today after last week buying a newer litter box with a better carbon filter bit, I don't know if my nose is overly sensitive or what but I swear I can always smell the litter box even though I scoop it at least twice per day. Who knows.
Must remember to also get some replacement filter cartridges for the fountain when my SE wages come in, too.3 -

I too would expect to get half - if I did the money the way you too do.
Good luck with the kitten. We encourage ours to do its business outside and have a very basic litter tray (washing up bowl) for emergencies. We chuck our cat out regularly to minimise the risk of odour. It was that or the cat would have had to go.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I am another in the you should be getting half if the bills were split 50/50 camp tooDays to Orlando: 462- ☀️🎢2

Ahhhh guys
honestly I'm not too fussed about it as he's agreed to the new way of splitting the bills now plus I'll be taking on the account and managing it more efficiently so I've got a bit more cash in my pocket each month anyway
I do agree with your POV just not up to another talk about money for a long time now
New litter works a treat, which is a huge relief!
Friday at last, was at work bright and early due to car sharing with OH so walked over to the supermarket and picked up some flowers to go with the wine I got for my friend whose birthday BBQ it is tonight.
We did a walk by of a house that has just become available to rent, towards the top end of our budget but it's an ex show home that no one has ever lived in but has had new kitchen refits and re decorations many times according to the next door neighbour who we happened to see whilst wondering where the parking was, so chatted to her about the parking arrangements and the house which was productive
So today is my last day solo working for a while as from Monday I will be training up my replacement4 -
I have tentatively and light heartedly suggested to OH that the figure that would be my "half" of the energy refund and the amount I owe him are the same amount, so we could just call it even e.g. he doesn't give me any money but then I don't owe him anything either. Will report back when he responds, hopefully to announce I owe him nothing and my debt paid figure is £290 higher5
