Morning everyone! *waves*
The sun is shining again today, one more day of work after today and then four days off, whoop!
I had a very unsettled nights' sleep last night, I woke up around 12:30 to turn off the TV as OH falls asleep watching it, and then woke again around 3:30 from a god awful nightmare, so was still quite tired when I woke up at 6. However, I'm still feeling pretty good, I brought my iPad to work so that I can watch some TV on my lunch break.
I had a bit of a spendy day yesterday, ordered some more of the 2 tapes to start taping up my foot again as it's rather tender lately, and am trying some new insoles from Amazon designed to support the part of my foot where it needs support at the moment, so I will see how I get on with all of that. I also ordered some plants and compost from a local garden centre that is doing online contactless deliveries, it will keep me busy over the weekend and also I am helping a local business, so justified I think.
I think the main issue I have with the shred is I know it's going to make my foot hurt a bit afterwards, so I have spent this morning looking up low impact workouts and found one by Jillian Michaels that is only around 15 minutes long, so I should really be able to incorporate that into my daily routine! I will also dig out my kettlebell over the weekend and try doing some kettlebell YouTube workouts, too.
Feeling positive this morning, hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine & keeping safe xx3 -
Gooooooood morning
So, after watching the low impact video I was going to try, I realised her warmup includes high knees and other exercises that are definitely NOT low impact, so found another lady on YouTube who has sooo many videos. Her low impact one looks good, and I showed OH one of her yoga ones as he has wanted to try so we did a bit of that last night. She also has short workouts timed to go with songs, so I think she might be my new favourite person
Today is essentially my Friday as it's my last working day for the week, so hoping to be kept super busy with bits and pieces I can come up with, to make it whizz by.
I managed to close my exercise ring on my watch today for the first time in ages, did lots of (apparently) vigorous hoovering at work then we walked to Asda when I got home from work as I was in desperate need of some T Gel shampoo to try as my scalp is driving me absolutely nuts. It feels a bit better today, hopefully it'll work long term.
Literally nothing money-related to report until the end of the month now, so it'll just be random waffling until then2 -

^ this lady. I've only done her two yoga videos so far, not managed to find the time yet for the low impact workout (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkVHrA5o23o&t=788s ) but I have watched through most of itI also want to do her 30 minute stretching/flexibility videos 1-2 times per week

Morning everyone
I haven't been on for 4 whole days
I have literally spent every waking minute since we picked up our little fluff ball watching him and playing/cuddling with him. I didn't know you could love a pet so much! It was horrible going back to work this morninghe's such a little character, with bounds of energy who loves a cuddle and a nap after he has eaten. I love him! He is also so good for the most part, we had one toilet accident when I didn't realise he needed to go and had forgotten where his litterbox was (his meow is almost non existent) but I spotted it the next time and popped him in, then the next day we put the lid on (it's a covered one) and we spent some time showing him how to get in and out with the door/flap, and he had no issues at all. He's mostly just been in the living room but I needed to clean it yesterday so OH took him to run around the hallway with the other doors closed, and now he just loves to run up and down the stairs
anyway, I could waffle on for hours so I'll stop there
I have decided I want to be the kind of person who gets up and does yoga in the morning, so I got up this morning and did a 20 minute morning yoga video (I'm so inflexible) which was great fun with a little kitten running round wondering what I was doing
Payday in 3 days, boss confirmed I will be getting extra hours this month for cleaning, which will help to repay OH.
The next few days will be powering through any and every bit of SE work that I can to make up for four very unproductive daysx

Great news on the kitten! If your kitten's anything like my cats, the obsession with yoga won't go away....if they're not head-bumping me while I'm in a balancing pose they're lying on my mat, or lying next to me during shavasana
be aware as well as my mum's cat and mine love to chew my mat and my yoga blocks...not sure what's yummy about rubber but there you go! These things aren't cheap to have tooth and claw marks in lol
