Busy indeed haha, to top it off I had to go a different way home after my visit as there must have been some sort of accident on the motorway as Waze told me to go home via country lanes (glad I checked) which I HATE in the dark as these ones are barely a car wide, had one particularly flooded bit and there are almost no passing places. Now that I've used them a few times I just don't go above 30 where its so bendy and there are so many blind corners, no one behind seemed to mind though
Then to top it off when I got home had the usual bicker with OH that he's been home all day and dinner isn't even on which was exaggerated by the fact I'd had a naff journey home and I was starving, ended up having chip shop for tea as I couldn't be bothered with the malarkey of trying to work out what to have and then cooking it. Oh well.
Lunch with my nan today and two of her sisters, then finally a night home alone tonight and just chill out. I need to pack a bag tonight with a change of clothes and stuff to see my dad, as I really will not have any spare time in the morning to sort anything like that out.
I'm glad it's almost the weekend, this has felt like a very long week already3 -
Friday at last and level 1 of the shred is DONE! I do wish I hadn't had to do the last two workouts less than 12 hours apart as I didn't really enjoy it today, it was more just about getting it done, but hey ho.
Another busy morning of exercise what with dropping my car at the garage, then hot footing it back over to work. He did say this repair is £150 not £190 so that's a little win. I knew I wasn't listening properly as soon as I heard the total cost started with a 3
I ended up blitzing the house last night, OH and I bickered a lot yesterday and when I'm stressed the most cathartic thing I can do at the moment is clean, so deep cleaned the kitchen, the lounge, and our bedroom. I have a few more bits I want to do over the weekend, but I ran out of energy
I plan to do a tip run on Saturday or Sunday with the two old airers we now don't use, the broken ironing board and our old hoover. I completely sorted out what was previously known as the stinky cupboard and it's now ridiculously neat and tidy, ready for the new ironing board that is coming tomorrow to go in. Couldn't really go without an ironing board, we wear too much stuff that needs ironing, e.g. OH wears at least 5 shirts per week.
Just remembered last night was supposed to be a night of relaxationoh well, that can be tomorrow night instead as we get our last food shop delivered in the morning so I don't need to go ANYWHERE in the evening and I can just chill

I have been reunited with my car and he is under strict instructions to have no more major ailments any time soon
I opted for a taxi to pick it up as the weather here is AWFUL and it meant I also still had time to eat a proper lunch. Given the fact the repair was £40 cheaper than I had planned for, £5 for a taxi isn't the end of the world.
I am actually so tired, the mix of the mass off exercise in the last 18 hours and a restless nights sleep mean I'm gradually become more and more zombiefied. Nothing coffee can't sort until it's time to go out later, and I'm sure once I'm out catching up with everyone, I won't feel half as tired. It doesn't help with the heaters so close by me, I often find myself doing a bit of a nodding dog impression if I'm already tired
I'm going to take the marginally lighter dumbbells home from work for the weekend, just to make stepping up the next level on the shred a little easier until I get into the swing of things. I'm excited to get up in the morning and take my measurements. I know for a fact my weight hasn't really changed yet, but then again it has only been 10 days, but I know that my measurements will be slightly different, at least!
One week until payday, and just a few more direct debits to come out. Then, at the end of the month, my Halifax cashback will be paid, then not long after that I should get the TSB referral bonus, too.
I got £15 from Intellizoom this morning (they must have paid them all together for some reason as one payment was late and the rest are slightly early) so I don't plan to spend more than that on food and drink tonight. Luckily, on o2 priority there is an offer for a free drink for you and a friend, and OH and I are both with o2so is my brother, so I gave him the heads up, too
Not much else to report, really, everything else is just ticking over for now. I will say that I'm glad I booked a later slot than usual for our delivery tomorrow morning, though knowing my luck the ironing board will be delivered at the crack of dawn

Good morning MSE! A very happy SSDD reporting this morning that inches lost so far are:
2 inches from my waist
0.5 inch from my hips
0.5 inch from my arms
My thighs are the same, but they are a lot firmer so I'm not really bothered about that! The scales actually show a 0.5 kilo INCREASE but I do expect some weight loss further down the line
I had hoped for a lie-in this morning but OH had to be at work early and has a tendency to sleep through alarmsso I've been up for a while but have a full intention of allowing myself a nap later on in the day
I seriously cannot wait for this weather to pass, it's horrendous driving around in it at the moment, but errands do need to be run today.
I also aim to fit in my shred AND a bit of yoga depending on how my day goes, I keep seeing yoga ads on Facebook and I REALLY want to be that bendy
Just finishing up the end of season three of 13 Reasons Why, it's been a lot more emotional than I thought it would be!
Ended up with zero spends last night, they had deals on for food and my dad got it as a birthday treat, less than £25 I believe and the landlord got us some drinks on his tab, so that was a bonus

Gooooood morning MSE
Still getting my shred done every day, now that I'm in the routine I don't think I could actually allow myself to miss a dayin the aching stage again at the moment, but I actually find level 2 a bit more fun and interesting. Harder work, of course, but it's definitely a bit more fun. It helps that I lost the above inches, too, so that's motivating.
I did something nerve-wracking at the weekend and did a self-tan for the first time with some stuff I bought AGES ago and have always chickened out of using, but I did it on Saturday and I must say I'm very impressed. It came out really well, even if I do say so myself. No stripes or blotches, just a really nice, natural colour. I think I may be a convert now
I enjoyed my new found time this morning, now that I wash and dry my hair the night before! I got to set my alarm later, and still chill out in bed for a bit before having to get up.
The car drives like a dream now, and handles so much better - definitely worth the money. I am going to poke my head under the bonnet at the weekend and just give things a glance over in case there are other things that didn't get done on the "full service".
The weekend seemed to fly by as always, I had a go at the guy who delivered our ironing board as he felt the need to buzz the bell and hammer his fist on the door simultaneously and when I pointed out there was no need for it, he accused me of being "too slow" for the two seconds it had taken me to get from the hallway to the doorThankfully Yodel always send a follow-up email to their deliveries so I took that chance to comment on the service, too.
Ironing all got done yesterday, as did all of the washing, I just need to sort out the swim stuff and towels when I get in from work tonight as I ran out of motivation to do much after dinner. I have got a tin of soup for my lunch today as I didn't have the energy to meal prep anything last night, but will try and get some meals sorted this evening that will tide me over for the rest of the week.
I didn't get much chance to do any SE work yesterday as OH had discovered where all the memory on his laptop is, so spent the entire day downloading hefty sized games onto it, which the internet didn't like and it wouldn't let me submit any work, so I need to play catch up today2 -

Happy Tuesday!
On the home stretch to payday now, hopefully only a few days away from the Halifax cashback being paid, and I don't really know when the TSB bonus will/should be paid but I'm checking every day
Day #13 of the shred yesterday, we were supposed to go to the gym as well but when I got home from work OH was tucked up in bed, so I was quietly grateful to be able to just crack on with the shred and then collapse and do not much else. I did force myself up a bit later on to meal prep for the rest of the week, although I discovered Chinese marinade makes it harder to cook chicken as it turns the blooming stuff pinkstill, three meals for the rest of the week done, which is the perfect amount as I go for lunch with my Nan one day in the week.
I've booked myself an eye test for Friday for £5, I did a home trial order from Glasses Direct to try and find some frames I like, and I found one pair that will do (no doubt I will change my mind after I've had them for a while) so I just need to get my latest prescription and then I can order them. They've always got some offer or another on, so should would out relatively cheap.
It's almost time for an end of the month update for my 20 things in 2020 and I can't say I think I've really come along much, but there is still plenty of the year to go. Some won't happen until I get my foot sorted anyway i.e. the 50 parkruns, and some I can do more later in the year to average them out
