£4.74 spent yesterday on bread, milk and a ys fruit loaf.
£100 has been paid off the credit card taking the current debt total down to £1539.45
Did a couple of PA surveys yesterday for £4.50, really close to being able to cash out on 0nepoll but keep getting screened out of the available surveys which is very annoying.
I'm on a late shift today so plan to do a bit of gardening/cleaning this morning. Off work for a week after todayMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Thanks Boodedoo
We were away at the weekend having a family get together which was lovely but quite exhausting as my siblings have 4 young children between them and 1 more about to arriveNothing spent other than the petrol to get there and a small gift for my brother/sister-in-law as we were all staying with them.
Booked my holiday with my friend yesterday, we've gone for an all inclusive week in Lanzaroteso looking forward to this. Not cheap at £899 but covered by the holiday fund. I also bought travel insurance which was £54.23. I'm sure last time I went on holiday abroad, the travel insurance was only £12ish but that was before my surgeries so guess that will be why. Shouldn't need much spending money due to being all inclusive so just need to save up more money to go on holiday with OH, we're thinking probably September so plenty of time to save.
Finally reached the £25 cash out on 0nepoll so just waiting for that to reach my account.
It's my birthdayso the plan is to go out for the day, however, the weather isn't looking great and I feel a bit washed out due to a bowel obstruction yesterday so will play it by ear.

Thanks INOD
I started feeling better mid-morning so we decided to head out to a local forest which has some lovely walks. We took a picnic and the sun ended up coming out so had a really nice day out. Indian takeaway last night for tea which was yummy and plenty of leftovers for tonight's tea.
Today I've walked into town to pick up a birthday present from OH. He did click and collect as the delivery charge was expensive. I spent £27.55 on coffee beans from my favourite local coffee shop, this is mostly covered by a birthday cheque from my gran. I also spent £3.30 on a baguette to go with lunch and some fruit.
Now that my holiday is booked, I want to try and lose some weight. I have a heap of holiday clothes from the last time I was abroad and I'd rather not buy more if I can avoid it. However, I was definitely slimmer then so I've joined ww again and will start that from tomorrow. I've also looked out my gym stuff and hope to start going regularly.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

So healthy eating hasn't started yet, struggling with the motivation to start and a couple of very long busy days at work haven't helped.
Food budget doesn't look great this month again due to doing lots of little shops and spending far too much each time. Due to finish work at 3pm today so will pop to the supermarket after and get a proper shop to do us the week.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

I'm not really sure what's happened to my finances this month but I've definitely overspent. After work, I'll go through all of my receipts, update ynab and see where I'm at.
In some positive finance news, the May bonus has hit the LISA plus I've added the £25 pay out from 0nepoll taking it to £6018.58Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

So last month, I overspent by £106.77
Petrol, food and social stuff were the main culprits so have slightly upped my budgets for them this month.
Payday was on Tuesdayand have added £175 to LISA, £100 to holiday, £120 to car fund and paid £36.59 off credit card. £100 usual direct debit for credit card will go out on Monday.
I had to buy a new lawn mower as OH managed to go over the cord of the last one. It's the 2nd lawn mower he's done that to so decided to get a cordless one this time. Way more expensive than the corded ones but safer. Paid from the emergency fund so need to build that back up.
It's 4 weeks until I go on holiday with my friend so will need to start looking at what holiday clothes I have and whether I still fit into them!
I became an auntie again this weekand we're going on a wee day trip tomorrow to meet him, very excited about this!

oh well the overspend was last month (I'd guess not unusual given how fast prices seem to rise), so draw a line, revise budgets and face the new month, seems to be the best option especially as its a minor blip in comparison to the rising figures in various funds - you are really doing very, very well
Bummer about the lawn mower, but safety is important so the cordless one sounds like money well spent
Exciting to be so close to a long overdue holiday!
and finally welcome to the world for the newest funsized person. My very favourite sort of news. Congrats all round to the parents, and extended family. Enjoy your trip to meet him, get as many huggles in as you can as the distance means they aren't going to be frequent.
