I didn’t see the update today, but from what I have read, we seem to be getting mixed messages because it looks like the lockdown has been extended but there has also been talk of easing the the restrictions. I was saying to OH a few weeks ago that the streets do seem to be busier with cars.Although I love shopping, I dont feel like I need to have a post lockdown splurge. I’m looking forward more to places I’d like to visit and things I’d like to do. I think the things I’d like to do are more likely to be the last things to be lifted in the restrictions, so I may be waiting a while.5

🇬🇧🇬🇧HAPPY VE DAY. 🇬🇧🇬🇧
hope you all have a lovely day, however you celebrate. 🥂7 -
The tests still haven't arrived. Don't rush yourselves! There is probably no point now as I first felt ill last Thursday so it will be too late. My psychologist said to make sure I read the instructions carefully as she said she has heard lots of people have been doing them wrong. She must have had her test done already as she works for the NHS. I forgot the time of my CBT phone appointment yesterday which was very unlike me as I am usually super organised. I suppose it is because I wasn't feeling well and also having to stay indoors all week. I'm losing track of what day it is! It seems like most of normal life will be going back in the next couple of weeks from what I have read. I was saying to my psychologist that we both thought it was too fast.
I moved my clothes around yesterday and split my wardrobes into winter and summer. I am going to get rid of a few things, like handbags and jumpers. I cannot wait to drop off the donation bags to the charity shop and also get some carp from my house to the tip.
I'm just doing a hair treatment now and I'm about to have a hot shower.

Hello Ladies,
I did not have a delivery slot for this week's shopping, so my daughter and I went to Lidl in Camberwell Green. As it is lovely weather here in South London, I decided to make an effort. I bought this Kaleidoscope dress from eBay just over 8 years ago, the Van Dal sandals are almost new, this being only the 2nd time I have worn them.

Hello, can I come back in?
I've been away from MSE for over 18 months which saw my marriage breakdown, a serious hair cut, house sale, job loss, relocation into a temporary bedsit, new job, house purchase, 3/4 of a divorce and now lockdown.
I had my shoulder length hair cut into a natural grey & silver pixie in November 2018 but am growing it back into a bob-ish style (although right now I've had to cut my fringe & with its natural wave I'm now sporting a hair style very similar to my toddler years!).
Am going to have a read back & catch-up -but can I just say Sugarbaby, you look exactly how I've always imagined2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

You are just so photogenic sugarbaby. That picture is amazing and it's good to see you looking so well.
Good to see you back floss. You've had a tough time, poor thing. It did make me smile that the drastic haircut almost pushed your ex off the top of your list.
I've cut my fringe today for the third time since lockdown started but I only risk taking 1-2 cms off at a time. I'm liking my hair a bit longer and fuller. It looks a bit like Anna Wintour's at the moment, especially when I'm wearing my Raybans.
We're coping well with lockdown. This has been a much better week as my neck muscles are much looser so I can do more. Last night I watched a fascinating programme about Michael Palin in North Korea. What a strange place that is. I've enjoyed a few travelogue type programmes recently. I particularly like Rick Stein. I think it'll be an age before we're able to travel again which I'll miss.
Wales and Scotland have announced their plans for the coming weeks. I don't think England is likely to be much different unless they choose to interpret the medical advice differently. It's a shame England is having to wait until Sunday night as it doesn't give businesses much time to organise themselves if changes start from Monday. I was surprised to hear the chief of the Yorkshire Tourist Board say he and his colleagues in Cornwall and the Lake District were wondering how they'd manage any sudden influx. What a shame that they weren't involved in the planning before it's announced. I think allowing libraries to reopen is a great idea. It could rekindle an interest in using them. Also garden centres, but I'm not sure why they were ever closed when DIY stores didn't have to.
We had a lovely walk in the sunshine, just under the 5 000 steps. This was local again but in a different direction towards the airport. We found some interesting plaques that tell the story of the site where the Ford Transit factory used to be (now smaller factory units). During WW2 it was a 'shadow factory'. We had many of those across the city. When the Spitfire factory was bombed, the roof was damaged but not the machinery so they moved it all to places like garages and laundries and any small workshop they could find so they could continue making the parts for the planes.
I think it's going to be nice again tomorrow but then the temperatures plummet again. We'll be back to those winter wardrobes!!

The home tests arrived but we registered and we didn't get a call back for a courier pick-up. When my husband phoned up the man said that the system has been very slow today, maybe because of the bank holiday. We can't do the tests until at least tomorrow now as you have to do it after 9 pm at night.
I have been feeling a bit worse and I think I need antibiotics as I think I have my usual sinus infection that I get after I'm ill. I have booked a phone consultation with a GP for Monday. I did bounce on my trampoline for a while today which maybe wasn't the best idea.
I'm going to have a warm bath and shave my legs tonight (and get my husband to do my bikini line) and use my vitamin C treatment on my face tonight.

Good morning lovely ladies.....
Fantastic day yesterday, with DS1, DIL and LO. I wore my Union Jack dress and we had our own little mini VE party with a lovely BBQ cooked by my son. Then as they were leaving my neighbours were hosting a Social distance friendly street party so I joined in. Delightful end to a lovely day. So good to see at least part of my family after 8 weeks and I have to say I have really landed on my feet here, my neighbours are fab. One more glorious day is forecast and I'm feeling very tired today so I'm just going to rest and catch my breath a bit, maybe read in the garden. Jobs around the house can wait until next week when they are forecasting a cold snap.Hello Floss, welcome back. Sounds like you have an eventful time......time for you now.Wednesday. Hope you feel better soon. Take care.SUgarbaby - looking fabulous, great to see you making such a good recovery.Well now......it's time for me to go back on the wagon. I knew I had fallen by the wayside - popped myself on the scales this morning.😱. I have been so engrossed revamping the kitchen that I have rather neglected myself, grabbing the wrong food on the run because I was too busy to plan and cook properly, too many carbs and no proper exercise. Need to get back on track.
Time to crank up the Fabbing. I'm a mass of aches and pains too, so I am going to start slowly with some gentle stretches and a short walk to the local shop for some eggs. The kitchen painting is almost finished, and I'm all stocked me up with f@v and the freezer is full of meat and fish so I'm all out of excuses - it's back on the WW today.I understand that non urgent medical stuff will be starting up again soon. When it does I'm going to book myself some physio and chiro. I feel like Quasimodo........
What I wouldn't give for a massage. 😉7
