I've had my hair cut very short again, as it's easier to get an edgy look, with spikes and my big glasses. I thought wearing it a bit longer to hide my hearing aid was a good idea - no! It looked frumpy.Yesterday, I went to my Welsh group in a short skirt, with thick tights and a a grey polo neck sweater, big necklace. Need to work on myself after grandson's comment.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Good morning lovely ladies
Interesting Link Wednesday. Some nice outfits. Whilst browsing I clicked on to the feature on Margot Robbie......I think she always looks good. I don't think I'll be doing double denim, it's always strikes me as being a bit "Trailer Park". .😂. Reminds me of Thelma and Louise or Britney Spears......not quite for me - maybe I'm just too old and decrepit now. Lol.
Well done Penny. A new hair cut always lifts the spirits and I think you're right - a nice short crop can look really good, especially for spring. Sometimes an in between length can look a bit staid.
Im off out for lunch later, no snow here after all but very cold. I'll dress up warm in one of my sweater dresses over a pair of skinnies. I am really looking forward to some warm spring weather, I am soooooo over winter now. I've had enough. Edinburgh is going to be decidedly chilly so I think it will be layers all the way.

Meant to say, I've lost a couple of lbs this week. Wahoo. Next week is going to be a bit of a problem foodwise so trying to eat sensibly this week so as not to gain more weight and sabotage my efforts. If I can just maintain I will be happy enough. Then when I get back from Scotland I will go back into full WW mode.4

Hello Ladies,
I went to Karaoke in Herne Hill yesterday, but on arrival, I realised that there was a birthday party rather than Karaoke. I had a great time, dancing the evening away. I had to do far too much dancing sitting on my chair, but I stood up and danced when I could. Both of my knees have been playing up a lot and I did not want to aggravate them in any way.
Congratulations to those ladies who have lost weight

Happy snow day
it just been snowing in my part of London, but the snow hasn’t settled. I’m working from home today, so I’m going to pop out and get defuzzed, providing the weather holds out.A few days ago I used one of those foot peeling socks treatments (footner, but a cheap version) and I’m currently peeling all over the place. At least I don’t need to show my feet!!!4 -

Typical - 4 seasons in one day. I did get my waxing and threading done, so I’m pleased that is out of the way. Just need to get my roots done, but finding a suitable date is proving tricky.4 -
Great to see that most have been having good things happening. Quite a good week here too, visit mum with OH driving me on Monday, lots of catching up with BFF Tuesday, craft group yesterday and PT session and hair cut today, just managing to find enough spoons, but the house is becoming untidy and some things really need sorting out, if the forecast bad weather happens I will batten down the hatches and try to catch back on some of it. Found a "Colour me beautiful" book in lovely condition for 99p and have actually located an adviser in a nearby town, fees less expensive than the Kettlewell one which is a good hour and a half drive away, my £2 coin saving pot is a bit light ATM, but will start adding to this with a little extra cash as well as £2 which seem to be quite scarce around here. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Hi all,LL - shall look out for you
We haven't had much snow apart from a light dusting on the hills, but it is bitterly cold so yes, would def recommend layers! Obviously not the nicest reason to be visiting but hope you get the chance to do a couple of fun things at least. I'm prob very biased but it is a beautiful city.
Wednesday - hope you got through the rain ok, nowt worse than having to dash all over when it's soggy and cold! I do really like some of those clothes as separates but must admit not a fan of the 'double colours' - denim or otherwise, there's something about it that just doesn't work for me. Mind you, never been a 'fashion follower' for good or badHope those with snow are muddling through!Been an ok week, tried some fitness classes and keeping up the healthy eating but doesn't seem to be translating on the scales. Trying not to get discouraged and telling myself it could just be fluctuations. Weather has been seriously cold so trying to motivate myself to get out. Think will do the cinema tomorrow - not sure whether to catch Parasite before it goes out or the new Emma.7 -
