Your wreath looks amazing chanie - I have collected the foliage for mine and will attempt it this afternoon 😉.
We are lucky that we are still in Tier 2 after Boxing Day so we may try and find somewhere nice to go out for a walk and some lunch between Christmas & New Year.
Hope everyone can have the best Christmas possible under the current circumstances 🎄🎁😀🥂.6 -
I think you've done an excellent job on the door wreath chanie,. Well done! Hope yours works out well too sukey.😊🎄
Today has gone from bad to very much better! We woke up this morning to find that the CH boiler wasn't working. Fortunately, we have some electric heaters, that we use in the conservatory, so that was OK but no hot water. It reminded us of when we were having our bathroom redone, boiling water in the kettle to wash. DH got on the case and a lovely man came round this afternoon and fixed it. He's left us his number in case there are any further problems so all happy now! We had to pay a premium but it was only £30 on top of the quite reasonable normal fee. Well worth every penny. 😊
Good to hear everyone making plans and full of ideas for 2021. I love the positivity on here. Planning for a new house in a new area is really exciting Wednesday. I've not made any plans yet but I will. I'm hoping there might be some make up/skincare bargains online too, especially as so many shops have had to close so won't have physical sales. We're in Tier 4 from tomorrow night. So pleased I had my hair and eyebrows done last week. Your hairdresser was a real star fitting you in chanie.
I've pottered about this afternoon making mince pies, stuffing for tomorrow and cooking gammon while listening to 9 lessons and carols.. I'm having a little break then I'll prep some veg while I'm doing tonight's dinner.
Because of lack of shower this morning, I haven't got as fabbed up today as I'd have liked but since the heating came back on I've put on some make up and a nice silver grey jumper. Tomorrow I'm going to wear my gold and black Phase 8 skirt

with a thin black jumper. I won't have to wear tights and I'll wear my slippers all day! 😉 I've been using up fake tan with my body lotion lately so my legs are a good colour.
I do hope everyone is making the best of whatever situation they are in this Christmas. So many people have lost loved ones this year. When I got the peppercorns out today I was thinking of my friend who was with me when I bought them in a Turkish market. Sugarbaby and her family are in my thoughts and prayers. I do hope she has her son and daughter with her as family means so much. Happy Christmas Everyone. 😊5 -

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas (you and your family were in my thoughts sugar).
I was told on Xmas eve that I need to self isolate as I’ve been in contact with confirmed covid. Luckily we were wearing masks, so I’m not too worried. Due to the dates I was in contact, I only need to self isolate for a couple more days, so it isn’t too bad.4 -
I know one of my in-laws who has been told the same Chanie. I think she has to isolate up until NYE.
I had quite a good Christmas considering I was a bit put out about my husband having to work Christmas eve again. He got home very early as there were no jobs on so he left for work about 10.30 at night and was home by 1.30 am.
The xmas dinner was lovely as well. The roast potatoes came out perfectly. I have eaten far too much junk though so I'm making a healthy bean chilli for lunch today as I'm craving something wholesome!

We are enjoying our Christmas very much. I cooked for 4 yesterday but we did 'Deliveroo' for DD1 so just the two of us at home. Meal was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed the crisps and sandwiches last night. I often think leftovers is the best part. Bubble and Squeak tonight. 😋
Good that your DH got an early finish Wednesday. My brother and SIL came out of isolation at midnight. They had both tested positive but seemingly no rules about a retest. 🤔 I spoke to them last night and they were excited about going to Sainsburys! Nowhere else to to go as Wales is in lockdown. I think it should happen here as the Tiers seem random. We've got New Forest bordering us in a lower tier but relying on our hospitals which doesn't seem fair as system is supposed to protect the NHS.
I haven't done any online shopping or even browsing yet but I do want to look.
We had a short walk today but not done much else. As it's holiday time, I don't feel any pressure to achieve anything, just relax and enjoy. 😁5
