Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)
Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.

I like the sound of your new venture LL. As well as being a good look, I think many people are far more conscious of 're-use/recycle' for environmental reasons. I think there's nothing like a bit of boredom/inaction to recharge the batteries and get us thinking of plans for the future. I find it always happens when I'm on my sunshine holiday. I keep a notebook in my beach bag to jot down the plans that come to me when I'm sitting about doing nothing. We may not have had the holiday but we've certainly had the time to reflect!!😊
I liked the idea of the personal treats too chanie. I've always had massages and facials through Groupon but there haven't been any remotely local to me lately . Perhaps they'll start advertising in January but, if not, then I can afford to treat myself. I know I'm worth it!😁
I'm going into the city centre this afternoon to have my eyebrow wax and tint. I don't plan to be there very long so any browsing will be minimal. I have a short list of things I need to buy so I'll be focused. I need to check my 'stock' first but I might take advantage and get another Christmas gift set with my moisturiser in while I have the chance. I've just started using a Clinique make up remover :
Take The Day Off™ Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips | Clinique
It's absolutely brilliant. I'm using up the last of the cotton pads with it at the moment but I'm switching to reusable when they're gone. I'm gradually working my way through various products and samples and honing in on my favourites.
I'm very pleased with my fake door wreath that I bought in Aldi last year. It was reduced after Christmas and it even has LED lights that work on a timer each evening. I plan to decorate indoors on Saturday. I don't want to start Christmas too early so, although I have bought in a few treats, I'm not starting to eat them them until next Thursday. 😊🎄

Helen your business idea sounds like fun. I think jewellery and accessories will be a big success.
maman I have heard good things about ‘take the day off’.

End of term at last Sheila. Great feeling!! The plans (or lack of them) for testing next term sound like an absolute fiasco so enjoy your rest while you can.😊
I'm really pleased with my eyebrow wax and tint. I've gradually moved a few shades darker for better definition. It may be because my hair's got gradually darker as the highlights grow out but not sure I want to be in the salon that long at the moment. I need to do a manicure as well as my nails are getting too long...again! I'm tempted to go to the nail shop and have some cheery, red shellac Christmas nails but don't want to risk another lockdown coming and not being able to have it removed. 🤔
I heard yesterday that my brother and SIL have tested positive for Covid. He has fluey symptoms but SIL hasn't any as yet. I can't say I'm surprised as he's in South Wales and they have almost 800 cases per 100K in his area compared with 100 where we are. It's worrying though.
Tomorrow I'll put up the decorations indoors to add to the few bits I've done already. It's DD1's birthday on Sunday. I will get to see her outside somewhere but no celebratory meal, like we normally have, this year. There'll be other birthdays and other celebrations though. 🤔7 -
Thanks Maman, finally finished! had my voluntary test yesterday, negative. Looking forward to the few days with family over the festive break. Very wet and miserable here. Sorry Maman that your Brother and SIL are positive. I have a nail dryer and all the stuff so I can do my own nails next week.Have a lovely evening everyone.Sugarbaby, you are in my thoughts x6

Maman - I feel like in the last month I'm hearing about more and more people that I know (real life and online) testing positive for Covid.
That sounds like an exciting project LL.
The days are all blurring together for me as I do the same things every day! I did wear my favourite navy dress out today for my walk.
My husband is working tonight but we have the Pete Tong online concert tomorrow night so that is one thing to look forward to at least.
I am going to really make the most of my life when things get back to normal. I'm already thinking about meeting up with a couple of vegan YouTuber influencers I have started following during lockdown. If they want to meet up with me, of course!I want to start volunteering and go to meet new people too. 2020 really has made me look at my life and how I have been far too complacent and lazy.
