What do you do if you don't wear black......live in white. 😂🤣5

I am actually quite happy with my winter wardrobe, I bought quite a lot of new clothes last winter, a few things I havent even worn yet. The pandemic struck and I just never got round to them. So I don't really feel I need to buy much at all.None Of it was black though. 😂
I've just woken up....fell asleep in my deck chair.6 -

You are supposed to dry your hair with a microfibre towel instead of a normal one if you have wavy or curly hair. You have to scrunch the gel through your hair after conditioning to set the waves. I will see if I like the result tomorrow.
I was just catching up with YouTube videos. There was one about what 10 basics you should have in your wardrobe. I didn't have many of them.
I think she (Jenny Mustard) said a black tee, a white tee, a pair of jeans, a blazer, a black dress, a white vest, a solid neutral jumper, hmm, what were the other things? Black smart trousers...
The hair advice sounds great though, I'll have a look at that method hun .
LL take it easy gardening in this heat , it's exhausting xx"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Wahay......I have finished the clay breaking. I didn't mean to do it all in one day but you know me, once I get the bit between my teeth there's no stopping me. Shattered now and my poor right palm is bruised. But it's done. The second round won't be nearly as bad. Going to put my feet up now.I agree Candy. There's no way I want a capsule wardrobe. I like having lots of clothes. Obviously a reaction to my impoverished childhood when I had nothing.....😉😂. But I like having loads of choice, and like you I like to experiment with colours and styles. I don't always get it right and sometimes when I appraise my wardrobe I come across items and think "what on earth was I thinking" 😂🤣. I do let those go. The minimalists mantra of if you haven't worn it for 1 year (some even say 6 months) then it should go is, I think, wrong. Well it is for me. If I have a favourite then I keep it for years, even if don't wear it regularly.Apparently Princess Anne is a great one for shopping from her wardrobe. She still wears items she first wore in the 70s.Time for something nice to eat, and then maybe a nice film. Watched American Gangster last night, with Denzel Washington as the gangster. Whilst he usually plays the hero he actually makes a brilliant baddie. The night before I watched The Last Samurai.......one of my favourites but I think it might be time for a chick flick for a change. 😂 Something light and romantic.7

wednesday I used to do the curly girl method. I co-washed for years, but my hair was always like an oil slick. Now, I’m low-poo, so I use a CG friendly shampoo and conditioner. The thing that makes the biggest difference is plopping. I bought a microfibre towel from Boots which leaves me with lovely curls. I think that the CG method is very much trial and error, so keep experimenting If it doesn’t suit you at first. Also, check out your local Afro-hair shops, as they often have the products cheaper than elsewhere. I know you live in London and most high streets have a couple of Afro hair shops (alongside the chicken shops and paddy power 🤣).6

Hello Ladies,
LL my small fridge freezer is over 20 years old and works well. If I do end up moving from my current address, because the demolition of my Riverside Estate is green lighted by Lambeth Council's planning department, then I will treat myself to a larger fridge freezer, kitchen space permitting.
I am still buzzing, as my older son and his 2 daughters paid us a visit, so did my younger son. Lots of fun, laughter and chat.4 -
good Morning Lovely LadiesRain at last 💃😁. Still quite warm and humid though.Loving the fridge/freezer comparisons. It's true though isn't it, older appliances seem to last much longer than they do now,So glad I got the extreme gardening out of the way before the rain. I am paying the price today of course so I will take it easy for a few days, have some Epsom salt baths and do some yoga. Now that I've finished the really heavy work I might see if I can book a massage next week. I've earned one. 😉. Today I'm going to give myself a manicure and paint my toenails.I have been a bit haphazard with vitamins lately forgetting to to take them so I need to get a proper regime going, definitely restart Vitamin D and glucosamine ready for winter. The nights are starting to draw in. Winter is Coming!!!! 😂🤣.7

I did buy a paddle brush and an Afro comb. I did brush my hair before the shower but only used the comb afterwards. Strange as I haven't used a comb like that since I was about 14 and I had a perm. Blast from the past. My hairdresser is married to a black guy and she has mentioned products from those shops before. I will have to ask her when I next get my hair cut.
My hair is still wet so I will see what it looks like dry. It does feel like I have a lot of product in it as I wasn't sure how much of the curl gel to use.
It's funny how my hair is quite curly and that I didn't even realise!2025 GOALS
