New underwear is definitely a necessity and not a luxury!  You have a good plan going forward.  It is very sensible to save most of the difference between full time and part time salary if there is a possibility that your hours will reduce back to part time in a few months time.

Since we're sharing underwear stories, I have printed BHS underwear too - they are the best! I'll be sad when they finally give up. But yes, that is a very worthy spend

(Edit: got overexcited, HOORAY for the loan being gone too. But y'know. Priorities  )

@astrocytic_kitten and @joedenise thank you both.  I'm having problems quoting both of you in one post and think it's an over-the-page thing.

My black underwear is now a washed out grey colour, although still holding strong I must admit.

There's a very good chance I will be put back to part time.  This is supposed to be a temporary measure until something more permanent can be arranged.  It would be nice to stay full time for financial reasons but I do miss my afternoons of doing whatever I want.

My afternoon tea with my sis was brilliant!  We had a great chat and had some lovely food and drink.  It's LMG's 21st in October so we're starting to plan that.  I'm allowing myself to get a little excited now.

I'm exhausted now.  It's been a long and full day.

They are the best and I really love them.  I won't part with them until they do fall apart but I could do with some fresher items.

    Thank you 🙂

    So chuffed for you.
Happy debt free day to you.
    Enjoy your afternoon tea.
I like M & S tshirt bras.  Have not bought any in ages as bought a great supply of them at an outlet on a great buy about 3 years ago.  I tried the P ones & agree they are not the best.  Have heard SAinsbugs ones are good  xx

I've had Sainsbugs ones.  They are good quality but unfortunately since my boobs have changed as I've got older they no longer fit me very well even though they used to.  The ones that fit me best came from M&Co and were a good price - if I remember correctly they were £16 about 2 years ago.  Think I'm going to need to buy some more soon as only have a couple that still fit so are constantly being washed (although at the moment I'm only wearing on days when I actually go out and not bothering when I'm at home!)

There's an M&Co in the small town next to me. I'm quite close to it.  I'll maybe give it a shot, thanks.
I'm most likely to go with M&S as that has been recommended by so many people.  Having looked before, I know there is a large selection of what I am looking for.  Ooh can't wait until payday!

M&S are absolutely useless for me - have never managed to get anything to fit, even when they measured me!
