Great news on seeing off that CC, not so good feeling under the weather though, hope you feel better soon.

Hi All, sorry not been about. Apart from being ill and taking a week to recover, work has been very busy.
So updates:
- More ZIPZERO payments made and starting to see the benefit from them (I.e. reduced monthly payments)
- sorted more items to go paperless (been putting it off)
- did an inventory of snack stuff and got enough there for around 6 weeks of packed lunches for me and LO.
- started a little exercise and feel better for it.
- filled remaining freezer space with portioned chilli, bolognaise etc and labelled them all with a Sharpie.
Yes I spent more this week on food but bought a lot of cupboard staples that will last the month.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J2 -
How is everyone?
I got a letter from one of my cc's about persistent debt and saying about a payment plan etc but it didn't mention any numbers. I'm trying not to worried about it. One cc down (paid off), 3 to go.
Food wise I thought we'd try bbq jackfruit (vegan) rolls. I gave it a go, none of us liked them. Need to do a shopping list.
BT messed up and charged me more than the agreed payment. I contacted them using their text service and not only got it sorted out (I explained about the ZIPZERO payments) they've reduced my monthly payments by £7.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Would it be worth taking your mum into your confidence and starting to plan your exit from the relationship (if that's what you decide). I wasn't in an abusive relationship with XH but it was a massive relief to confide in my mum and talk through the situation and my options, how I'd approach certain conversations and decisions etc. Even if you haven't decided what you want to do, would she (or another friend or relative) give you that support? I know it's great to access the advice of people online but there's also a place for people who know and love you in helping you think through problems and give you a helping hand along the way.Choose kind0

Well done mum on the slow cooker, just shows she is paying attention! Were/Are you feeling under the weather or are you under a massive man shaped cloud? If mum has paid attention enough to know you need a new slow cooker what more do you think she has noticed? I'm guessing quite a lot & wants to say something but doesn't want to offend or alienate you.I'm not a manhater but I feel that some certainly should be kept at a distance. We none of us need a drone in our lives & we should in this day & age be able get an equal partner not another child. Especially not one who has his hand out for more spending money. This is going to sound a bit silly but is indicative of what can happen & can make a relationship go really sour. Many years ago (50 actually) when I married the first time, I used to leave the house with him & also return after work with him. The last thing he did when walking out of the house was put out his first cigarette of the day in the ashtray. When we walked back in at night he would complain that the ashtray hadn't been emptied! Obviously I missed out on the superpowers.0
