Thanks all 😀 Not really sure how I feel about work to be honest. Will just be glad when it's all over I think. It's very awkward still working, especially when none of my colleagues seem to know about it 🙁Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Thanks DFOD 😀 Did a £1.20 Prolific and 90p-worth on Qmee before I got out of bed this morning, but did mean I was a bit late getting up 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

BF has had his contract through for his new job this week, so that's one of us re-employed 👍 He's celebrated by buying a larger wine rack and a sideboard-type thing 🙄
Discussions continue with my work, but it looks like I'll be finishing in a couple of weeks. BF has just suggested I spend the payout on a new kitchen and bathroom 🙄🙄🙄 Er, no, I need that to live on while I find a new job....he's on another planet sometimes! Actually, I'm hoping to be able to use some on the mortgage, but I'm not telling him that as he just won't get it - it can be our secret!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Ooh, forgot to say I changed my mind about the free money and it's diverted back to paying off the credit card. That way more of the redundancy payment will be "mine" (doesn't make any difference financially, but definitely does psychologically). Still keeping a tally up though, up to £52.39 so far - not too shabby for day 11 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Just caught up on your diary SC. £8K already this year is awesome progress and you are seriously milking the free money.I hope you don't mind me over sharing here, but I had an (ex)husband who had very different attitudes towards money to me, spend easy and save never. It was one nail in the coffin of the relationship, I would call it an amber flag in retrospect. There were plenty other nails mind you!Good luck with the surveys and the high roller ones.ElmoR x7

Thanks ElmoR, and share away! I think if we lived together and it was "our" money I'd feel a lot differently about it, but as it is it doesn't bother me too much. Example: last night the heating came on because he'd left a door wide open all evening - if I was paying for half of that I'd be really p*ssed off! As it was, I just closed the door, told him I'd closed the door and why, and got an eye roll for my trouble 🙄 He puts money into his pension and always seems to have enough to do whatever he wants, so must be stashing some away somewhere. He always comes up with the cash on time for holidays and meals out so I can't complain too much I suppose! Although saying that, he does still owe me £5.98 for some Ben & Jerry's I picked him up on offer from Lidl....😠 Must chase that up!!!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
