Well that's the Easter weekend done and dusted. And I've achieved nothing productive whatsoever! I did start out with some vague ideas about carrying on with some DIY prep, but as the actual work won't be done until after the mortgage is finished and I have saved up for the refurb, there's not exactly any rush. Hey, it's a marathon not a sprint, right!

And I did buy cloths, but still didn't clean the kitchen - whoops 😂!

My trip Outside was good, only about 5 minutes queuing and got everything I needed. I split my list into needs and wants, which was really helpful and stopped me flapping or making bad decisions if there were empty shelves. Definitely going to continue to do that. There weren't many shortages though, which was good. Had to pay more for a 4-roll pack of loo roll than I'd normally pay for a 6-pack, but I much preferred that to the alternative of none at all 😂!

    Good night all

A five minute queue seems pretty good sc, according to my dd who is shopping weekly from where she is staying, it’s way longer. We are still getting by without big shops for the moment and I’m dreading having to go now 🙄 Glad you got hold of some loo roll, worth paying extra for!

It might be to do with timing as well NG. My BF is going shopping about 6.00pm and says he's not having to queue at all - and getting to raid the reduced to clear section, so win-win as far as he is concerned 😀! I think as less people are working, they're tending to go in the middle of the day and not later when they would normally shop on their way home. As I'm still working, I'm sticking to weekends for shopping as I'm trying very hard to make working and non-working days distinct from one another

Yes my MIL would use old pants to use as cloths. Never appealed to me either. Glad you have loo roll!

Yes, imagine that being the next use for the old pants 😯!

Not a bad day today, worked hard and got lots done. The £148 refund is showing on my credit card balance, so have called and requested that; got a £10 Amazon voucher from S&S; and Huyu have done another snapshot for £1.50. Slept terribly last night though, didn't notice it while I was working but as soon as I laid down on the sofa once I finished I almost nodded off! And now look at the time 😮! So overall I won't be too disappointed if I nod off in a bit

Thanks Jessy ❤ It was better, took an age to drop off and then woke up 4/5 times but did go back to sleep again quite quickly afterwards. And it's already Wednesday - wow!
