I'm on sick leave this week - I have no clue where I left my work phone, so I'm going to have search for it between now and Monday. I expect it'll be full of messages asking whether I'm ok.South_coast said:P.S. Going back to yesterday's post about the timing of emails....I've just received an email 😂5 -
Aww Green Bee hope you are recovering well.
SouthCoast - my boss is getting calls from 6.30am...
Meanwhile I've had breakfast and am considering getting dressed so I can take our dog for a walk.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks @savingholmes - my temperature is finally looking like coming down and staying there, so I should be Ok for work next week. I've just done a yoga class online and am planning a day of cleaning, tidying and gardening so I'm organised for work next week. Although I did find my phone and discovered that I'm urgently needed to cover a call at 3pm - I'll just dial in to get it set off and then have a nap
As I can't see myself being 100% next week I'm not that bothered. 4 -
Calmer day again today, although:
a) Temporary pay cut (fortunately at a level I can cope with)
b) Am paranoid my boss has discovered that this is my online alter-ego 😯
Not sure which is worse to be honest....

Oh, and have somehow managed to get myself in a kerfuffle with my finances - £450 doesn't appear to be where it's meant to be 😮! Have a feeling it may shake down next payday (most of it anyway), but may spend some time trying to unpick it over the weekend if I get bored enoughMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

South coast - I think we are all paranoid we will be outed if someone critical finds our profile. Sorry about the paycut - but good that you are being kept on. Does that mean you are not required to work?

I'm going to be a complete nerd and reference the 'I am your father' scene from Star wars but 'SC, I am your boss!!'

D'you know, after I posted that I did suddenly think I might get boss-impostors pitching up 😂! Pretty sure it's not you though Jessy! Nice try 😀
Maybe I should put out a coded message that only my boss would know the answer to, so they can correctly identify themselves.... In which case: "What did I say I would be doing at the weekend?" This is pretty un-guessable if you don't know it, but I look forward to hearing your theories 😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
