But it is the right time of year for a leaf safari, another couple of weeks and the trees will be naked.

To be more complete in answer to SH - my gym attendance in late August and September was diminished by how nice the weather was, so I did more outside walks than my narrative may have suggested.

However, recently work has been a series of intense week long efforts on separate topics, which has left me exhausted at the end of each day and tired during the weekend.  so its one of those things, that I am just going to have to try and make the best of it, but it won't be OK until the weather gets nicer again or work gets a little more settled.

So just trying to squeeze too many pints into a quart pot, and the one I am sacrificing is the exercise

so gave myself a kick up the metaphorical and went out for a dawn walk (dawn was about 730 so not up with the larks) back by 09:15 and nearly at 10000 steps already - then a nice coffee and a croissant

Love it... Did you create that line or did it come from somewhere. It's amazing.

Great news. Does that mean you could cancel the gym for a couple of months and save money?

Yes - I did love all the leaves well on the way to changing colour, but not naked yet

I won't stop the gym just yet - as we head into worse weather, plus the other machines are still on the plan, can't just walk all winter - plus its not too expensive around £25 pcm.  But definitely an option PureJim are quite good at that, but you have to do it for a month I think

Nothing to add, other than I had to top up the main account as we needed a big old shop to prepare the house for our trip North on Friday.  DD2 and DS1 both getting mucked around at work, but with promising opportunities coming their way.  Should be done and dusted by the time we get back so hope can report back when I'm back home.  Will be bit quiet (how will you tell) until then, but I hope to have all my regular updates done by the end of the week

have been doing some decluttering and tidying alongside OH so a long way to go, but good to get it started
