Hi Pete, as someone else already said there is a lot more to the Riviera Maya than 5* AIs.
My recommendation would be to get a car and drive to Ek Balam where you have some pretty significant Maya ruins and a very cool cenote on same site. And not many tour buses.
But then from our previous chats on here I know that you are aware of this and probably wont be spending all day on the beach and in the bar:). You could also get a bus to Chetumal and on into Belize or catch a boat to the wonderful San Pedro where I'll be spending some 6 weeks or so this summer.0 -
I’m toying with the idea of booking a package with Tui or Jet 2. Both have sales on atm. I booked one last year having not booked a package for a few years. . We paid just under £700 for a week in Majorca SC which I thought was a good deal.
Looking at a week September/ early October in Sunny beach Bulgaria.Anyone been, and would you reccomend?0 -
Booked:
February/March 3 weeks, Sydney (big birthday:o) and 13 night New Zealand cruise
March/April 19 night Spain, Portugal, Madeira, Cape Verde etc cruise
November/December 32 night:eek: Caribbean cruise
TBA but will definitely happen:p
Hong Kong to visit my son
Stockholm to visit friends
Eastern Europe with friends
Somewhere warm with a friend, probably with Jet2 Holidays
Packing it in while we still have the energy, inclination, and reasonable health:)0 -

weekend in Bordeaux booked today. Wasn’t even on planning it, but was persuaded by cheap flights and hotel package, so another one added to my itinerary for 2020:)0
