Travel plans for 2020

Going to Valencia in January for a weekend, and have booked a week in March to the Canaries.
That’s it so far. Where’s everyone going in 2020?

    Not much planned as yet.

A long weekend in Porto in Feb (watching a group - Tindersticks)
A week in Croatia in June

My main holiday is generally in November/December. Have yet to even narrow this down to a continent. I quite fancy Uganda if that’s a good time of year there.

Returning to Rhodes for Easter to the same hotel we visited at that time in 2019. Then a couple of weeks booked in Lanzarote in June.

Definitely more to be booked, usually a short break overseas in August then a couple of UK trips plus a longer sunshine holiday at the end of September. We are also mulling over getting away for Christmas in 2020 as I am a Christmas baby and have a zero coming up next year!
  • April- Ibiza for four nights to take in Easter processions.

May- Tour of Georgia and Armenia.

June- Ibiza for two weeks as usual.

July- Rhayader and Barmouth in Wales for four nights.

September- Tour of Puglia in Italy.

October- Douro River Cruise from Porto to Salamanca.

Also want to fit in a few days in Ireland to visit a friend.

February - 2 weeks on Riviera Maya, Mexico. Not my idea but hey-ho.

June - A week staying with friends in Castilla, which is fairly close to Alicante.

September - A couple of weeks tbc, probably on one of the Greek Islands.

Other than that, living happily in a new Lodge [caravan] near Southport.

If you've not previously been to Mexico you'll find a fair bit to do. Chichen Itza & Tulum are well worth a visit.

Just back from a few days in Istanbul (fascinating city) over Christmas. Nothing booked yet for 2020, but I'm thinking of

Feb/March - long weekend to somewhere warm
    May - another long weekend
July - one week, probably Canaries
Sept/Oct - two weeks, probably SE Asia
Xmas - if money allows it would be good to get away for Xmas and/or New Year.
