i have a crazy idea, how about perhaps, shock horror...walk?
I don't have a car, and i am at uni, i manage just fine,
I went to uni in Swansea. For the first 3 years, nobody had a car - yeah, we managed fine walking. Great. Go us.
The fourth year, we had a couple of cars in my house - everything was so much better. We could drive to tesco (no struggling with bags on crowded buses..). We could pop to the gower for surfing/kiting/kayaking/walking/sitting in the sun. Pop to the shops in cardiff (much cheaper than paying 5 rail fares..), etc etc etc.
Wish we'd been able to have the cars for my whole time there.0
